Podcasting

Faith

Faith clicked her tongue absently, reading the email Lorne had sent her.

Faithkins,

Need your help to get Angel onboard with our newest employees and my new venture! Check them out, they're podcasting but you can only access it through the company site - Hamish and Andy. Here are the logins.

Let me know how you like it!

Lorne.

She shrugged to herself, and opened the link he sent, then downloaded the shows that had been put onto the site.

She was still listening when Sam and Dean got back to the motel, earphones in her ears and she was laughing to herself.

"Good on you, Ando, I love you for that."

"Thanks!"

Dean & Sam

"...And the fat mother almost blew my damn head off!" Dean fumed, pulling off his jacket.

"And that was my fault?" Sam demanded incredulously.

"You were right there! With a gun in your hand!"

Faith

Faith glanced up for a second, before turning the volume up a little higher and adjusting her earphones.

"We like sauce, and we're the types of people who think sauce belongs in the cupboard."

She giggled.

Sam & Dean

"You'd rather I'd have shot you? You were in front of him!" Sam pointed out.

"That's no excuse, you could have ducked around me," Dean glared, throwing his jacket onto the table.

"Whatever, it's done. It's dead," Sam rolled his eyes, taking his boots and jacket off before going over to Faith.

"Hey," he put his hands on her shoulders.

Faith

"But someone else in this office thinks sauce belongs in the fridge," Andy went on.

"So, we're locked in a silent battle of the sauce bottle going back and forth between the fridge and the cupboard," Hamish chimed in. "See, you can't put it in the fridge, there's nothing worse than squeezing some cold sauce onto your sausage roll, thereby making the roll colder!"

Faith snickered, then paused the podcast, taking her earphones out to greet Sam.

"Hey."

Sam & Dean

"What were you listening to?" Sam rubbed her back, looking at the screen.

Dean took his boots and socks off, then go changed.

Faith

"Lorne's newest venture to bring laughter to Wolfram and Hart," Faith said, leaning back into his hands.

"They have inhouse radio now. It's pretty funny."

Sam

"In house radio?" Sam's eyebrows rose.

"What the heck would they talk about besides demons and vampires?"

Faith

"Ketchup," Faith answered, before grinning.

"It's actually really good. Angel's a bit hesitant, so Lorne's gotten me on board."

Sam

"...Naturally," Sam was confused.

"Is this gonna involve a trip back to LA?"

Faith

Faith shook her head.

"No, I just have to let Angel know if I like the show either way. I think it'll be good for them. Boost morale."

She snickered.

"Plus, they sound cute."

Sam

"Of course," Sam rolled his eyes.

"That'd be the main reason to employ them."

Faith

"They're Australian," Faith said, glancing up at him. "So I'm not sure how Lorne even found them, but you know, he always has his fingers in different pies."

She rubbed Sam's hand with one of her own.

"You'd like them. They're funny."

Sam & Dean

"Aussies are cool," Sam shrugged.

"Great sex drive, phew," Dean added from the bed where he'd collapsed.

Faith

"Oh yeah," Faith said to Dean, grinning faintly.

She tugged on Sam's hand to get him to sit beside her.

"How did the job go?"

Sam & Dean

"Great," Sam replied, pulling up a chair.

"Oh yeah, brilliant," Dean said sarcastically, "loverboy here almost got me killed."

Sam shook his head, mouthing 'no I didn't'.

Faith

Faith grinned, and leaned over to kiss Sam.

"You look better when you've been roughed up," she said to Dean.

Dean & Sam

"What are you talking about? I'm hot 24/7."

Sam grinned as he pulled away after the kiss.

Faith

"Maybe 12/7," Faith said, shrugging.

"Personally, I think the younger Winchester brother is the hot one."

Dean & Sam

"We just have hot genes," Dean grinned.

"Back to the radio thing..." Sam cleared his throat as he interrupted, "these guys know about the supernatural, I'm guessing."

Faith

"Yeah, Andy is a Dath," Faith said, then clarified. "Alien."

She slid a hand over Sam's knee casually.

"And Hamish likes to think he has powers."

Sam & Dean

"So he's human?" Sam asked.

"That's a first," Dean scoffed.

Faith

"Yep," Faith said.

"And hey. I'm human. Wait, so are you..."

Dean & Sam

"Oh I beg to differ," Dean grunted.

Sam looked over his shoulder.

"You don't think you're human?"

"I don't think any one of us is human anymore," Dean shook his head, "you're a demon, she's a slayer, and I'm... a reanimation, or something."

Faith

Faith thought about Dean's statement for a second.

"Well... we're humanoid."

Dean

Dean hesitated thoughtfully, then shrugged.

"That works."

Faith

Faith turned her attention back to her computer so she could send Lorne an email, telling him what she thought of the show.

"So, plans?"

Dean & Sam

"Sleep," Dean replied.

"I know you're itching to get out and do something, but I have to agree. We've had a long night," Sam said regretfully.

Faith

"I could go out," Faith suggested, nodding.

"Sam, I've been in here all day."

Sam

"You're not going anywhere," Sam insisted.

"Just... keep listening to the radio show or something."

Faith

Faith pouted.

"Alright, but I'm going to the bathroom first. On my own."

Sam & Dean

"Faith..." Sam sighed.

"Oh for God's sake, let her go," Dean grumbled.

Faith

"If I'm not back in two minutes, you can play rescue," Faith said, kissing him softly.

She wheeled herself away from the table, then over to the bathroom.
