Ty glanced towards the door as Faith and the Winchesters came in. He hid his smirk at Faith still being confined to a wheelchair.
Maybe he'd caused a little too much of a complication, but it was funny to think that all three of them believed she was no longer pregnant. How wrong they were. He wasn't giving that kid up easily, not without a fight anyway. And with any luck, what Dr Montgomery had said was true. Faith would not survive the childbirth.

Faith looked up at Sam, as he wheeled her over to a table.
"Hey, Ty's band is here," she said, noticing the singer setting up.
Dean & Sam
"What a coincidence," Dean said dryly.
"Well for once, I think you're right," Sam shrugged, setting the brakes on the chair and taking a seat next to Faith.
He looked over at the band as Dean stood staring.
"I mean, we didn't even know we'd be in town until this morning."
Ty and Faith
Ty sketched a casual salute at Dean after he'd finished setting up.
Faith glanced over and shrugged. "He is touring around, so it's entirely possible he just happens to be here. Or he's stalking us. Which, you know, is also pretty viable, considering our lifestyles."
Sam & Dean
"Why would a musician - younger than us, I might add - be stalking us?" Sam pointed out.
"He could be posessed for all we know," Dean nodded to Ty with a forced smile.
Ty and Faith
Ty nodded and then turned away, smirking slightly to himself. He gestured at the bar to his bandmates, then headed over to get them all water.
"Maybe he thinks you're pretty," Faith grinned. "I don't think he is, but it's pretty random that he's shown up a few places."
Dean & Sam
"We don't get random. Nothing's random for us," Dean insisted, finally sitting down across from Sam.
"There's a first for everything," Sam shrugged.
Ty and Faith
Although he was across the room, Ty picked up on every word of the conversation. He frowned slightly, picking up the water bottles. They were starting to suspect him. Maybe some less obvious cover would be better.
~*~*~*~
Faith shrugged. "Well, hopefully it's just random. Because I'm not really equipped for fighting at the moment."
Sam & Dean
"And you won't be fighting anyone or anything regardless," Sam lay down the law.
"I could ask Cass," Dean said thoughtfully.
"Sure. And when exactly was the last time you saw him, anyway?" Sam pointed out.
Faith
"Even if it hits me first?" Faith asked, looking innocent.
She glanced over the menu, rubbing her stomach absently.
Sam & Dean
"Even," Sam insisted.
"Cass is off keeping seals unbroken," Dean waved Sam off.
"So he says," Sam shrugged, calling a waitress over to order some drinks.
Dean gave Sam a scornful look.
Faith and Ty
Faith scratched her arm distractedly, eyes scanning the bar as they placed their drink order. Once the waitress had left, she refocused.
Ty detoured past their table, looking casual as he did so, as if he were just heading back to the stage.
"Hey," he said, as he went past.
Sam & Dean
"Hey," Sam nodded in return.
Dean watched as he passed, taking a large gulp of his beer.
Faith
Faith glanced at Ty, nodding to him as he went by, then looked at Sam.
"So, what's the deal with this town anyway?"
Sam
"Just a high missing persons rate," Sam shrugged.
"Haven't figured out the details yet."
Faith and Ty
"While I get to hang out in the motel," Faith said, nodding. "Fun."
Meanwhile, Ty and his band had started playing.
Sam & Dean
"You're always saying how ghosts are our job anyway," Sam teased, having a drink.

Barely fifteen minutes later, Dean was carrying out his usual sweep of the girls at the bar. Sam had been enjoying the band music when he turned to Faith and leaned into her ear.
"I'm gonna hit the head. Back in a minute," he said, leaning in to kiss her before getting up and heading for the bathroom.
Ty and Faith
Once Ty saw Faith was alone at the table, he made his move. He signalled to his band members and then put his guitar down, and jumped off the stage, heading over to Faith's table to have a chat.
"Hey," he said, nodding at her.
"Hey," she replied, looking up. "Good set tonight."
"We try," he joked. "May I?"
"You may."
He sat down, smirking to himself, and unscrewed the cap of his water bottle.
"How are you?" he asked, sounding concerned.
"Peachy," Faith replied. "Why do you ask?"
Ty gestured to the chair. "You're usually a little more spry."
She smiled a little. "Yeah. Nothing serious. Just resting for a week after being sick, is all."
"Good, good," Ty said, nodding. "I'm the reason you're in that chair, gorgeous."
"Sorry?" Faith said, leaning forward a little and furrowing her eyebrows.
"I'm glad it's nothing serious," Ty continued.
Sam
Sam hesitated on his way out of the bathroom, seeing Ty sitting in Dean's chair. Or what used to be Dean's and probably wouldn't be again.
Taking a deep breath and sratching his head, he made his way over.
"Ty," he nodded by way of greeting as he sat down.
Ty and Faith
"Sam," Ty greeted, looking over at him. "Was just talking to your lady here and wishing her better health."
Faith glanced at Sam and shrugged slightly.
Sam
"We could use it," Sam thanked with a short toast, drinking more beer.
"We don't really have the room for the chair in the car these days."
Faith and Ty
"We could leave it," Faith suggested. "Because I could walk."
Ty grinned in amusement, sensing this discussion had occurred a few times before.
Sam
"You could, but you're not," Sam rolled his eyes.
"It's too early, you know that."
Ty and Faith
Ty watched the pair, his eyes as though he was at a tennis match.
"Yeah, but even to the bathroom," Faith argued again. "I can walk to the bathroom."
"Wait, wait, here I have to interject," Ty interrupted. "You carry her to the bathroom?"
Sam
"The more weight she puts on her feet, the more likely the sutures will tear," Sam inisted.
"I don't fancy a midnight run to the emergency ward, so yeah. I do carry her."
Ty and Faith
Ty made a face. "Ouch, sounds serious."
Faith tucked some hair behind her ears. "It sounds less serious than it is."
"Really? Damn. I should've done more damage."
Sam
Sam did a double take.
"Excuse me?" he demanded, not sure if he heard right.
Ty and Faith
"I said it sounds like she did some serious damage to herself," Ty said, shrugging. "Have to, to end up in a wheelchair like that."
Faith scratched her neck lightly.
"Yeah..." she said uncertainly.
Dean & Sam
"Yep. Surgery on a bad hamstring. And she doesn't even play football," Dean chimed in coyly as he walked over.
He took a swig of Sam's beer and threw his brother the keys to the Chevy.
"Don't wait up, bro."
"I never do," Sam pointed out.
Dean hesitated, a blank look on his face.
"Keep up the good work then," he nodded.
Ty and Faith
"You'll die, pathetic and alone, much like you lived your life," Ty observed to Dean. "Even your geek brother got the girl."
Faith shot a look at Ty, positive she'd heard something wrong.
Dean & Sam
"Mighty kind of you," Dean gave Ty a thumbs up, having no idea what the kid had just said.
Sam shuddered again, getting that feeling he'd had last time he'd seen Ty. Or was it the last time?
Ty and Faith
"And she's still carrying your little brother's baby," Ty said, smiling pleasantly. "Gave her doctor a bit of a scare though. Although, to be fair, the whore had enough damage down there anyway."
"What?" Faith asked suddenly.
"Did my shoulder in a few years ago," Ty replied smoothly. "Didn't get carried around though, shame."
Dean & Sam
"You probably didn't have a big strong boyfriend either," Dean winked.
"I'm gone. See you guys when I get back to the motel."
"I'd say 'have fun', but..." Sam shook his head.
Dean glanced over his shoulder at the blonde waiting by the bar for him.
"Oh I will," he grinned, before saluting and leaving with her on his arm.
Ty and Faith
"You know, I don't know why Lindsey thought taking the three of you on was so hard," Ty said casually. "Although, to be fair, Faith is carrying my own little soldier in there."
"What?" Faith blinked.
"The guy knows how to party," Ty continued, shrugging.
Sam
"Yeah, sure," Sam rolled his eyes, wondering if he should stop drinking already.
He already seemed to be losing patches of time.
Ty and Faith
"I'm going to bleed you dry and your girlfriend here can watch," Ty said pleasantly. "She looks like she'd be up for some fun when she's out of the chair. Of course, childbirth is going to kill her."
Faith rubbed her temples, feeling as though she was displaced.
Sam
Sam frowned again, having lost another few seconds, before looking up at Faith.
"Hey, are you ok?" he frowned, taking hold of her hand on the table.
Ty and Faith
"You look a little pale," Ty said, concern entering his voice.
Faith shook her head. "I'm a little tired."
Ty sat back, taking a swig from his water bottle.
Sam
"Mybe it's too soon after the op to be drinking," Sam said, concerned.
Faith and Ty
"Probably." Faith rubbed her eyes. "Maybe we could go?"
Ty smirked to himself. There was no alcohol in Faith's glass. He'd made damn sure that the waitress had neglected to put any in the drink.
"Get some rest," Ty suggested. "You're gonna need your strength for when you have my little soldier."
Sam
Sam shook his head again.
"Sorry Ty, but we should probably get going," Sam nodded to him, standing from the table.
He dislodged the brakes from the wheelchair and turned it towards the door.
Ty and Faith
"Yeah, I'll be seeing you later... but you won't see me." Ty tipped an imaginary hat pleasantly. "Feel better."
Faith nodded, glancing up at Sam.
Sam
"See you," Sam nodded to Ty, before wheeling Faith outside to the car.
