Gambit found Rogue in one of the spare bedrooms.
"Hey, there you are."
"Oh, hey," Rogue replied, looking up at him guilitly.
"Whatcha doin'?"
"Oh nothing."
"Yeah?"
Rogue was quiet for a moment, then shrugged.
"One day one of our kids will have this for their bedroom."
Gambit nodded slowly.
"And hopefully they'll keep it neater than their previous occupants."
"What?"
"Nevermind," Gambit smiled.
"Sorry," Rogue smiled back. "I know you want to wait before we have kids."
Gambit gave her a side-on hug.
"I just want us to have a chance to enjoy being married first," he replied seriously. "Let's face it, our kids are going to keep us occupied for at least 18 years. That's a long time to wait for some alone time."
"Yeah," Rogue replied with a chuckle. "And either way, I'll probably still be impatient."
Gambit chuckled.
