Daughters?

Written by Nessa and AiMsTeR

Faith, Airlia and Tru

Faith's head tilted slightly, and she smiled to herself, before getting up and opening the door to the motel room.

Airlia and Tru stood on the doorstep, Airlia's hand poised to knock.

"Mom!" Tru exclaimed and the trio hugged, before Faith stepped back and allowed her daughters entrance into the room.

"Hey," Airlia greeted, running a hand through her hair.

"Good trip?" Faith questioned.

Tru made a rocking motion with her hand. "Lia flies like a maniac."

The three brunette women grinned, matching smiles on their dimpled faces.

Sam

Sam had been watching, enthralled. After letting the women greet each other, he stood from the bed and cleared his throat awkwardly.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

Faith turned and gestured to Airlia and Tru.

"My daughters," she offered, grinning. "Airlia and Tru."

"Apples of her eye," Airlia put in, nodding.

"Lights of her life," Tru added, a mischeiveous grin that resembled Faith's, spread across her face.

"This is Sam," Faith said, shaking her head slightly.

Tru looked at Airlia, and the two girls exchanged grins. "Angel didn't say he was cute."

"I don't think Angel would," Faith laughed.

Sam

Sam blushed, feeling very on the spot.

"It's great to finally meet you girls," he nodded to each of them in turn.

He wasn't sure if he should shake their hands or... what.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Yeah, sorry it took so long," Airlia offered, shrugging. "We were sorta interdimensional, but it's good to meet you too."

Tru nodded her agreement. "It is."

Faith wrapped her arm around her youngest daughter, who was leaning into her.

Sam

"I'd offer you guys drinks f we had anything, but..." Sam shrugged, almost embarrassed.

"Are you in town for long?"

Tru, Faith and Airlia

Tru shook her head. "It's cool, we're good. It's just a flying visit. We're going to stay with Dad. Or at Dad's house, at least."

"Where's Zac?" Faith asked.

"Touring," Airlia said, then shrugged. "I think. We're going to drop in on him, then maybe have a poke around Tulsa. Then Angel has mentioned something about Italy."

Sam

Sam's eyebrows rose as he leant back against the counter and folded his arms, not wanting to interrupt their bonding but not wanting to sit dow before the women either.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

Faith sat down on the bed, and Tru and Airlia quickly followed suit.

"Angel funded trip?" Faith asked. "Italy's nice. Good pizza."

Airlia nodded. "Apparently Wolfram and Hart have an office there too."

"Yeah, we hit up their masquerade ball awhile back," Faith told her.

"Hey, don't you have a brother?" Tru asked Sam. "Angel had trouble saying his name without making a face."

Airlia chortled. "Yeah."

Sam

"Yeah," Sam nodded, almost sad they asked.

"He's... working a small job nearby. He'll be back later."

Airlia, Faith and Tru

"Fair enough," Airlia said, nodding.

"Bathroom," Faith said, getting up and leaving the room.

Tru watched and when she was certain her mother was out of earshot, she turned to Sam.

"Well, I like you," she said, nodding. "You make her happy. No guy has done that before. Not even Dad."

"Yeah," Airlia agreed. "And you have that nice guy vibe. A change of pace. Plus, Angel likes you."

"Yeah, and generally, Angel hates everyone," Tru added.

Sam

Sam raised an eyebrow, looking between them.

"Well... thankyou," he smied a little, unsure of how to take it.

Especially the part about their Dad... he was the one Faith had been married to, right?

"I didn't know that about Angel."

Tru and Airlia

"Angel plays his cards close to his chest," Tru said, waving it off. "He's not a huge talker when it comes down to it."

"Like Mom," Airlia added. "But even if you don't see it, we can. She hasn't looked this happy with a guy... ever, actually."

"She smiles differently," Tru agreed. "So really, if she's happy, we're happy, so we're square, Sam."

Sam & Dean

"I'm glad," Sam nodded with a smile, "actually I've been meaning to-"

He was cut off as the door opened, Dean walking in backwards with his arms full before turning around and freezing like a deer in headlights.

"Dean," Sam breathed.

"Sam."

"This is Airlia, and Tru," Sam nodded at them in turn.

"Hey," Dean lifted his chin in a welcome nod, dumping his 'groceries' on the small motel table.

Airlia and Tru

"If Angel had mentioned how hot Dean was, I would've come and visited ages ago," Airlia commented.

"Sometimes I can't believe we're related," Tru replied, shaking her head.

"Seriously?" Airlia asked. "But then again, you have a crush on your history tutor, so there's no accounting for taste."

"Nerds are cute," Tru replied, shrugging.

Dean & Sam

"Wow," Dean's eyebrows rose, Sam's following, but with two very different expressions.

"And if I'd known you were coming, Airlia, I'd have made more... pleasurable arrangements," Dean grinned, taking off his jacket and throwing it over one of the chairs.

"Don't mind him," Sam insisted.

"No, do."

Airlia and Tru

"There's still time," Airlia said, grinning slightly.

"Seriously though," Tru put in, looking between the two. "Do you really want to be in a situation where you can actually use the phrase 'that's not how your Mom used to do it'?"

Airlia thought about that for a second.

Dean & Sam

"What do you mean?" Dean was oblivious.

Sam just smirked.

Faith, Tru and Airlia

Faith wandered back into the room, oblivious to the conversation that had preceeded her arrival.

"Hey, is Saku at Dad's now?" Tru asked.

Faith shook her head. "I think he's at school in Cleveland. Last I heard, anyway. I haven't spoken to Zac in a few months."

Airlia grinned. "See, this is where we get the bad communication skills from. I keep telling people it's genetic."

Dean & Sam

"Sisters?" Dean looked between the three women.

"Daughters," Sam delighted in telling him.

Dean hesitated for a second, then grinned.

"Awesome."

Tru, Airlia and Faith

"Yeah, but if they get married," Tru said, indicating Faith and Sam. "You'll be our uncle."

"By marriage," Airlia shrugged. "Technically not a crime."

"Well," Faith said, grinning slightly. "There's really no doubt you're my daughter, you sick girl."

Dean & Sam

"Hey, I've got no objection," Dean smirked.

"You wouldn't," Sam pointed out.

"I knew you were absurdly hot for a reason," Dean inched closer to Airlia, leaning on the counter near her, "your Mom's got some great genes."

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"Dean, no," Faith said, shaking her head.

"Well, yeah," Airlia said, flicking hair off her shoulder. "And unlike Tru, who might end up with Dad's nose if she's not careful - "

"Hey, Uncle Angel has already promised me a nose job if that happens!" Tru retorted.

"It's ok," Faith chuckled. "You have my nose."

Dean & Sam

"You've got more than that," Dean mused, "I take it you're not a virgin."

"Dean," Sam was frowning defensively now.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"Dean, do you actually want me to hit you?" Faith asked, raising an eyebrow.

Airlia smirked slightly. "Wouldn't you just love to know?"

"Lia!"

"Well," Tru said, shaking her head. "Clearly, I am the only normal one in this dysfunctional family unit."

"Well, you have Zac's genes, as well, so I wouldn't count on that," Faith told her. "I mean, you've met your uncles, right?"

"Yeah, but I never tricked Dad into thinking I was having sex with my half brother," Tru replied.

Airlia laughed. "Yeah, that was pretty awesome."

Dean

"Oh you can hit me as much as you want," Dean nodded to Faith, then looked to Airlia.

"You did what?"

Airlia, Tru and Faith

Airlia snorted. "Our half brother and I thought it would be funny to mess with Dad's head. So we just held hands and made suggestive comments to each other."

Tru made a face. "That was an awkward afternoon for all witnessing that, let me just say."

Faith shook her head. "Yeah, I got a phone call about that one. I think he was more just embarrassed that he fell for it."

"Well, technically, it wouldn't be a crime," Airlia repeated. "Saku and I aren't actually related by blood. Or marriage anymore. And I'm not really Dad's daughter."

"That's true," Faith mused. "You are a product of... me, really."

Dean & Sam

"Even better," Dean grinned mischievously.

"Yeah. Tha prank sounds like something he would do," Sam pointed out.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"And then they somehow turned it around and made Zac feel like he was the dirty one," Faith said, shaking her head.

"Saku did the fancy footwork," Airlia shrugged. "I was just the pretty one."

"You really sure you want to have anything to do with this family?" Tru asked Sam, grinning.

Sam & Dean

"It could alway be worse," Sam insisted.

"And we've had our share of strange," Dean added, not taking his eyes off Airlia.

Faith, Tru and Airlia

The three women shared a long look.

"You haven't seen their powers yet," Faith pointed out.

"Yeah, considering I'm half alien, half Slayer," Tru said.

"And... I'm half pegasus?" Airlia suggested.

Sam & Dean

Sam gulped a little at that, looking at Faith, but Dean didn't notice.

"Half what?" he was intrigued, "there you go Sammy, unicorns might exist after all!"

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Yeah," Airlia said, nodding. "I'm pretty awesome."

"Science project gone wrong," Tru teased. "At least I'm half alien and not half... mythical creature."

Airlia snorted. "You're just jealous that I am amazing."

"You're both amazing because you both share my genes," Faith put in.

Dean & Sam

"I concur," Dean's eyebrows rose.

"So what kind f powers do you guys have?" Sam asked curiously, and trying to look unphased.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Both of us have Mom's Slayer strength and senses," Airlia said, glancing at Faith. "Which was a bit of a shock to the system."

Tru snorted. "Yeah, the amount of stuff we used to break because we didn't realise how strong we were."

"And I can shift between human and pegasus," Airlia continued.

"That was interesting, the first time it happened," Faith spoke up.

"And I'm a shapeshifter," Tru said, shrugging.

Sam & Dean

"So pretty much the same deal, only you're constricted in what you can change into. Namely, only a pegasus," Sam noted.

"Shapeshifters," Dean couldn't help but sneer a little, before clearing his throat to try and cover it.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Yeah," Airlia said, shrugging. "Has it's moments. Makes transport easy. The flying thing."

"Except you fly like a maniac," Tru told her sister. "You drive worse, but it's a close call."

"Yeah, but I'm pretty," Airlia replied.

"You say that like it means something," Tru joked.

Faith rolled her eyes slightly. "I'm guessing this is why Angel sent you two packing?"

"Angel loves us, Mom," Airlia said, mock offended.

Dean

"That's special. Angel doesn't love much more than himself," Dean chortled.

Tru, Faith and Airlia

"He loves Mom," Tru said, shrugging. "Well, not love love, but you know. And Spike said some incredibly unnerving things that I did not need to hear about my Mom."

Faith snorted. "He'll do that."

Airlia glanced at Dean and grinned faintly.

Dean & Sam

Dean chuckled to himself, remembering his recent encounters with Spike. Maybe he should swing by and see the fang sometime...

"Yeah, I don't even know him that well and I know that," Sam scratched his head.

Airlia, Faith and Tru

"Yeah, that was a bit of a horrible eye opener... in the way that I will never sleep peacefully again," Airlia said, shaking her head.

Faith laughed. "Maybe you should steer clear of him."

"I think so," Tru agreed. "He stares at me in a way that makes me want to join a convent."

Sam & Dean

"I think that's... natural for him too," Sam considered.

"Or supernatural," Dean quipped.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Yeah, he makes you feel dirty," Airlia said. "But in a good way."

"Seriously, again, how are we related?" Tru asked.

"You can sleep with anyone other than Spike," Faith replied. "You're an adult now, but I am putting that restriction on you."

"Coolest Mom ever," Airlia grinned.

Dean

"I'm so in," Dean made a scoring motion with his arms.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"Not yet, but soon," Airlia said quietly to Dean.

"It's a wonder that I am so functional," Tru said again. "Although, I have to say, the laid back parenting is cool."

"Well yeah," Faith said, ruffling her daughter's hair. "I did let you go to an alternate dimension to accelerate your aging so you can have a crack at Liam."

"That's... so not why I went," Tru retorted.

Dean

"Who's Liam?" Dean asked in a teasing tone.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"The history teacher," Airlia teased.

"He is a cutie," Faith said, grinning. "Nerds are cute."

"See," Tru said, as if to prove a point. "Mom agrees."

"Mom thought Dad was attractive," Airlia pointed out.

"Your poor father."

Dean

"Heh. Nerds," Dean chuckled to himself.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"Well, you know, I did become awfully fond of this nerd," Faith teased, looking at Sam.

Airlia and Tru exchanged a knowing look between them.

Dean & Sam

"And?" Dean raised his eyebrows, thinking his tease fitting.

Sam just rolled his eyes again.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"And we could end up with a step dad," Airlia joked.

Tru grinned. "Possibly."

Faith raised an eyebrow. "Already planning it, are you?"

"Pretty much, yeah," Tru shrugged.

Sam & Dean

Sam's face flushed red, and he scratched at his nose to hide it.

"Now that would be weird. Sammy getting married," Dean teased his brother.

Airlia, Tru and Faith

"More like seeing Mom in a wedding dress," Airlia laughed. "That would be weird."

"Didn't you wear one when you married Dad?" Tru asked.

Faith shook her head. "Nope. We did the eloping thing. Coz your grandmother didn't approve of me."

Sam & Dean

"Who? Zac's Mom?" Sam asked with a squint.

"Their loss," Dean shrugged, winking at Airlia.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"Yeah, she thought... or rather, knew, that I was a bad influence," Faith shrugged.

"Could be because she's an empath," Airlia pointed out. "And you wear a lot of leather."

"Yeah, that probably didn't help your case," Tru laughed.

Dean

"It sure helps something," Dean tilted his head a little, mostly in memory.

Faith and Tru

"Yeah, you'd know," Faith said, raising an eyebrow at Dean.

"She can't hate you too much, you did help save Avery that time," Tru pointed out.

"Well, what can I say? I'm Batman."

Dean & Sam

"Hey!" Dean scorned, "there's only one Batman, and that's me!" "How do you know I'm not just that awesome?"

Airlia and Tru

"He looks like he could just be that awesome," Airlia put in helpfully.

Tru rolled her eyes.

Dean & Sam

"Because I am," Dean insisted.

"Seriously. I threw a pen into the barrel of a handgun from three feet away."

"Again, rabbit's foot," Sam pointed out.

Faith and Tru

"That's pretty awesome, even I have to admit," Faith said, with an apologetic look at Sam.

"Rabbit's foot?" Tru asked, intrigued.

Sam

"It's an occult object, made by a conjur woman centuries ago-"

"Or it was, we destroyed it," Dean pointed out.

"Anyway, the point is it granted its owner a run of good fortune you wouldn't believe."

"Forty-five grand's worth of scratch tickets, free food for a year, perfectly good guns jamming up when you're about to be shot in the throat..."

"But in order to own it, you just had to touch it. And everyone ends up losing it. When you lose it, your luck turns so bad you die within aweek. Or so we were told, and it was definitely headed that way."

"Skinned knees, not pretty. Meeting Bela - now that was a bad omen. Not to mention Gordon's lackies about to put a bullet in your skull after you almost burnt down the motel room. And losing your shoe down the storm drain-"

"I didn't burn it down, the air conditioner faulted," Sam scorned.

"It was your badluck, therefore your fault," Dean shrugged.

Faith, Tru and Airlia

"You lost your shoe?" Faith grinned.

"This is what you focus on?" Tru laughed.

"I think badluck Sam would be cute," Airlia put in.

Sam & Dean

"It was a long day," Sam defended.

"Saved by your awesome big brother."

"With the rabbit's foot in hand," Sam added.

"You're jealous, damsel."

Faith, Tru and Airlia

Faith grinned at Sam, finding the situation hilariously adorable.

Tru waved her hand dismissively. "At least you weren't actually that clumsy because like you were just born that way."

"Like Andrew," Airlia laughed. "His co-ordination leaves a lot to be desired. Although, he claims that working with Giles has made him 82% more manly."

Faith raised an eyebrow. "Thank God for Slayer reflexes."

Sam & Dean

"Giles?" Sam asked.

"Sounds like a Watcher dude," Dean glanced across.

Faith, Airlia and Tru

"Yeah," Faith said, with a sidelong glance at Sam. "Man, if I'd known they came that young and cute when I was starting out, I would've requested a transfer."

"Raise your hand if... ew?" Airlia said, wrinkling her nose.

Tru snickered. "Sorry, I kinda see it. It's the librarian thing. It's kinda sexy."

Dean

"What is it with you and nerds?" Dean pulled a face at Tru.

Tru

Tru shrugged.

"I think I get that from Mom."
