Now's your chance!

Isaac, Zac and Natalie

"Hey Ike, so good of you to join us," Zac joked as Isaac joined them at the table.

Isaac rolled his eyes.

"You guys ordered yet?"

"Just drinks," Natalie said.

"Okay cool," Isaac paused a moment. "So umm, I have bad news and I have good news."

"You lost your socks but found a new pair you'd forgotten you had?" Zac suggested.

Natalie blinked.

"Dork," Isaac said. "Nikki found out that the celebrant who conducted our wedding wasn't a registered. So we're not really married after all."

"Oh, Ike," Natalie said sympathetically, and would have said more if not for Zac's interuption:

"That's great news!" he exclaimed. "That means you can split up and not have to go through the messiness of divorce proceedings! Hey, congratulations!"

Isaac stared at his brother.

Taylor

"Zac," Taylor lightly scorned, before looking back at Isaac.

"So if that's the bad news, what's the 'good news'?"

Isaac, Zac and Natalie

"I'm getting married," Isaac answered Taylor, although still looking at Zac.

"What?" Zac exploded. "You... she... perfect opportunity!"

"Umm, Zac, as I recall," Natalie said softly. "You said they wouldn't last a month. They've lasted two, and they still want to be together. Can't you just let it go?"

"Thanks Nat," Isaac said.

"Yes, but you haven't even been together all that time. We've been touring," Zac declared.

"For less than two weeks," Isaac pointed out. "Nikki still has contractual obligations back home, remember? We've been through this."

"Why am I the only one who sees this can only end in tears?"

Isaac sighed and rolled his eyes.

"So, Nikki's ticked off," he said.

"I would be too," Natalie nodded.

"So she's already planning the wedding. September third. We'll have to teleport, but we were only going to be travelling that day anyway."

Taylor

Taylor nodded.

"Ok. Though it's fine to say September 3rd, but has she been able to actully book anything?" he asked.

"You remember how much trouble Nat and I had getting the church, right?"

Isaac, Zac and Natalie

"Yeah, we're not getting anything that iconic though," Isaac replied. "Besides, I wouldn't be telling you it's September third unless Nikki had managed to book stuff. Which she has. Aside from the church she also managed to get a reception hall resevation and I believe she currently hunting down an available caterer. I mean, I actually found out about the not really married thing three days ago... I was waiting until we knew when."

Zac sighed loudly. Isaac pursed his lips and made a point of not looking at him.

"Oh, Nat?"

"Yeah?"

"Nikki was hoping you'd consent to being one of her bridesmaids."

Natalie blinked in surprise.

"She would?"

Isaac nodded.

"Most of her friends are in Florida and she doesn't know how many will be able to make it on such short notice."

"Ahh, so she only wants me because she thinks I'll be able to make it?"

"And you're family. Or will be. Soon."

Natalie giggled.

"Sure, I'd be honoured," she replied.

"We'd pair you up with Tay of course," Isaac went on and looked at his brother. "Assuming you'd like to be one of my groomsmen?"

Taylor

"Ah... sure! Of course. Wouldn't miss it," Taylor smiled half heartedly.

"I take it you haven't told Mom or Dad..."

Isaac, Natalie and Zac

"Don't have to," Isaac replied. "Nikki already has. She wanted Mom's help, seeing as how her own's in Florida too."

Isaac paused and looked at Zac.

"So... Zac... I was going to ask you to be my best man..."

Zac looked up.

"You were?" he asked cautiously.

"Yeah," Isaac nodded. "I mean, deciding between you and Tay... kinda hard decision there, but Nikki thought that Taylor might prefer being partnered with his wife rather than her Maid of Honour. Besides you actually know Stessa. But y'know, if you're not interested..."

The torn expression on Zac's face was priceless and Natalie giggled.

Taylor

Taylor smiled and took Natalie's hand, kissing it as a sign to the affirmative.

"Besides, it's your turn to be a best man," Taylor insisted.

Isaac, Zac and Natalie

Natalie smiled at Taylor.

"So... I would get to look after the rings, and makes a speech..." Zac said slowly.

"Yes, but y'know, seeing as how you're so against the idea of Nikki and I getting married. Again. I'll just have to ask someone else," Isaac replied casually.

Ha, maybe he should have mentioned the best man thing first.

"No-no-no," Zac put in quickly. "I can do the whole supportive little brother thing. Really. And what I really meant before is that this is a good opportunity to have an actual wedding instead of eloping like you did last time. That stuff about splitting up? Yeah I was just, umm... joking... to see what reaction I'd get."

He nodded energetically and Isaac laughed.

Taylor

"So I guess that's settled then," Taylor smirked, still holding Nat's hand.

"Who else are you going to ask?"

Isaac, Natalie and Zac

"Ash," Isaac replied. "If Nikki can get a third bridesmaid. I suggested Jess, but we think she's going to be back at Uni then and may not be able to make it."

"Teleporters," Zac nodded. "That's how we're getting there."

"Yeah... that doesn't really work if you have a class the same day though."

"True that."

"Anyway, we'll see what happens. Inviting Ash anyway so yeah."
