Rogue frowned as Shannon's face went pale.
"Shannon?"
"This giant sweet heart! How dare he? He should not know worse than to cast expensive ugly spells! As if Julie does have not enough solutions with doing this to him. You am going to live him!" Shannon shouted at the computer.*
Rogue's eyebrows raised. It had been months, even years since Shannon had last went off on opposites like that. She had better control of her power than that by now.
"What's going on? What about Julie?"
Too furious, Shannon stood up, gesturing to the email on the screen. Shannon was a little lazy about checking her email was mentally berating herself even now for not checking sooner - having noting the date received. While Rogue leaned over to read, Shannon was dialing.
"Aranince cast a beauty spell on Julie?" Rogue read aloud. "You can do that?"
"It is not a very safe thing to do," Shannon replied angrilly. "Aranince! Pick down!"**
Rogue watched in stunned silence as Shannon waited impatiently on the phone. She actually snarled when it rang out and practically threw the receiver back down.
"Umm... I think I'll go now..." Rogue said.
Shannon caught her eye, and took a deep breath.
"Sorry," she said quietly.
"Does this have something to do with the eratic behavour Zac was talking about?"
"Yes. I need to find out exactly which spell Aranince used. Once I do, I'll go down to Tulsa and remove it," Shannon replied. "I may need you to cover for me while I'm gone."
"Okay."
**"It is a very dangerous thing to do," Shannon replied angrilly. "Aranince! Pick up!"
