"Wow," Gwen said, walking through into Angel's office. "Your security sucks."
Angel looked up from the text he was reading. "Gwen."
"In the flesh." The thief perched on the side of a chair, regarding the vampire through long lashes.
"Mordred, kids?" Angel asked.
Gwen shook her head. "Spike tell you?"
"Yeah." He paused. "I'm sorry."
Gwen waved her hand. "Easy come, easy go, I guess?"
Angel raised his eyebrows at her flip reaction and she shrugged in response.
"Hey, I can't cry forever, you know?" Gwen replied, by way of explanation. "I've shed enough tears over that bastard. I mean, obviously, I would love to see my children again, but you know... guess that's not going to happen for awhile."
Angel nodded. "Moving back?"
"Yeah," she said. "I kept a lot of my old contacts from before and did some work while I was in New York, but I've let a lot of people know that I'm back for good now, so... you know. Busy busy."
"That's good."
"Yeah, should be."
