Julie turned up at the wedding and wondered why she bothered. She was so sick and tried of going to wedding lately when her own was in shambles.
"Corinne and Cliff are your friends remember?" she told herself.
Julie sighed. The burdens of friendship. Ugh.
Annika paused before sitting down beside her, and her eyebrows raised. Well, Julie's appearence had certainly changed since she last saw her.
"Hey," she greeted.
"Hey," Julie mumbled.
Cliff and Binar were standing at the alter. Cliff was fidgeting with his shirt sleeve while Binar was trying to figure out what Cliff seemed so aggitated. This whole thing was Cliff's idea after all. They both wanted to get married. So... what wasn't he confident and happy? It was a conumdrum for the black and white mutant.
The music began to play and down the aisle came Corinne's flower girl, followed by her bridesmaids, and finally herself. She smiled shyly at Cliff and at last the ceremony began.
The happy couple said their 'I do's, took the vows, kissed and were presented to the congregation as "Mr and Mrs Greene". There were many photos taken and the reception went well. Corinne was rather smug about how well the day went and even allowed Cliff to take some of the credit.
