"So, you're really thinking about it?" Avery asked her friend as they stood in line for lunch.
"Yeah," Lo said, shrugging. "I mean, I really want to go to college, you know? And LC and I always talked about how much fun our Senior year would be together."
Avery nodded. "Well, that's a good point. I was considering doing my last few years of school downside as well. Actually enrolling in a school too."
"Crazy homeschool freak," Lo teased.
"That's me!"
Lo snickered, then lifted her tray off the table. "Well, if you didn't want to do school in Tulsa, you should come enrol in Laguna with me. I mean, you'll already have all of us there, it'll be fun."
Avery grinned faintly. "I guess that would be fun."
"Plus, if you are serious about taking that guy up on his offer, LA is seriously like... not that far from LB."
"But that's like... years away. Well, you know, one at most. But he asked me to come in for some test shots like... next month." Avery shrugged.
"Eh," Lo replied, setting her tray down on the table. She pulled a chair out and sat down. "I'll come with, if you like. Lauren and I did some modelling like... last year? You know how Stephen works for Surf and Sport? They wanted some models for their catalogues, so he hooked us up. It's pretty easy money."
"Thus the appeal."
Lo snorted.
