"... doing well, apparently," Angel said, leaning back against his armchair. "Lia's been able to get a lot of magic training over there and Tru is focusing on martial arts."
Faith grinned. "Apparently they're scholars. With me as a mother. Who knew?"
"Heartwarming, isn't it?" Angel laughed. "But I'm told they're both doing very well. They'll probably be back soon, Tru's about 16 right now."
Faith nodded. "She wanted to get to get to at least 18, 19, so it shouldn't be too long now. Few more months."
"You miss them?" he asked.
"Yeah," she replied. "I mean, it's easy to not think about it while I'm travelling so much, but there's a little part of me that would love it if they were at least in the same country."
"Few more months," the vampire reassured her. "I'd say by October they'll be back."
Faith sighed. "Yeah. At least they have each other though. Oh, that reminds me... I should probably give Zac a call."
Angel chuckled. "He doesn't know?"
"I think we might've discussed it at Christmas, but I think I should warn him that his daughter will be nearly his age when he sees her next," Faith laughed. "Might make it less confusing for him."
"Good plan."
