Beauty is only skin deep

Written by Michelle

Julie and Aranince

Aranince stifled a sigh as she comforted Julie who was weeping, partly from anguish and a poor state of self esteem, and partly because of all the alcohol she'd been drinking tonight. Hell, she was so pathetic. Not to mention a party pooper. Seriously. Bobby this, Bobby that, no one loves me, I'm fat and ugly, whine, whine, whine. Didn't she ever shut up?

Aranince couldn't blame Bobby for leaving her. Not one bit.

"I'm sorry," Julie said at last. "You don't want to hear about all my troubles."

"No, no I don't," Aranince thought to herself severely, but aloud she said: "You know, I may have a solution to at least one of your problems."

"Oh?"

"How does a beauty spell sound?"

Julie stared.

"You can do that?"

"Of course."

"Oh!"

"I can even do it right now," Aranince went on decidedly. "You might feel a slight pain in your abdomen, but it'll pass."

"Okay."

Aranince smiled more to herself and then started casting two spells. One was to take a sample of her ovaries (hey this having twins every single time thing may make for an interesting study), which made Julie gasp as she did indeed feel a slight but sharp pain. The second spell was a very simple beauty spells. The good ones required all sorts of tools and ingrediants, but Aranince wasn't exactly feeling all that charitable and decided the crude "Beauty is only skin deep" spell would do the job quite nicely. It was known to make the recipiant a little unstable, but as Julie was already pretty screwed up in that area it shouldn't make a bit of difference.
