"Zeke?"
Zeke looked up at Forge.
"Yes?"
"You're needed in the medlabs."
"Oh! Thank you."
Zeke just left his things in the computer lab and left the class. Most everyone watched him as he left - there was only one reason why Zeke would be called to the medlabs right now:
Geri was in labour.
Actually by the time that Zeke got down there the labour was already over. Geri was exhausted.
"Geri?" Zeke inquired as he moved to his side.
"Hey," Geri smiled weaky at him.
"Hey, how'd it go?"
"Much better than we expected. She just slipped right out."
"She?"
Geri nodded.
"Hank has her right now. He's just checking her over to make sure she's okay."
"Something wrong?" Zeke frowned.
"He's just making sure there isn't anything wrong. She's got physicaly resemblances to both of us," Geri smiled. "She has your skin, and your eyes."
"Aww."
"I thought so. She also has my feet."
"Ow."
"They didn't actually hurt coming out. Hank's just making sure that her mutation isn't going to have any unpleasant side-effects that might making staying alive difficult for her. Y'know, organs that function differently or something."
Zeke nodded.
"Just like he already warned us about right?"
"Right," Geri nodded wearily. "I'm not worried."
"Good. Neither am I. Say... what about a name?"
"I still like Sorka."
"You've been reading too many Pern books."
Geri giggled.
"Just one. But DragonsDawn is one of my favourites. I love Sorka."
Zeke grinned.
"Okay," he said. "Sorka is it."
