"Okay, okay," said Elata after getting over the excitement (mostly) of being in the Palace with Princess Mia. "You have to see this."
She pulled a magazine out of her bag and showed it to the group. On the cover was a photo of Mia and Roberto.
"Huh," Mia mused. "That didn't take very long."
"That's a bad photo," Roberto decided upon inspecting. "Probably a mobile phone or something."
"You can get some decent photos from mobile phone camera's these day though." Henry pointed out.
"Yeah, but still."
"It gets better," Elata said smugly, flipping through the pages to the article in question. "Ahem. 'Princess Mia has been seen with a young beau of green complexion.' "
"How observant," Roberto said dryly.
"They even figured out who you are," Elata said, pointing. "See? Roberto Harrison. They have you down as en exchange student though."
Roberto shrugged.
"It's not an entirely inaccurate description," he observed. "Say! The even listed what school I'm going to. Oh my god!"
"What?" Mia asked.
"Elata, when did this come out?"
"Just today."
"Well, that explains all the funny looks I was getting then."
"Sorry," Mia said.
"Eh, not your fault," Roberto shrugged.
"Probably come to a head tomorrow," Elata said delightedly.
"Thanks for your vote of confidence."
Elata giggled.
