There was silence in the assembly and then everyone heard it. The sound of a mobile phone going off. Everyone looked around, and Rogue (looking a little bashful) was seen picking a phone out of her bag, noting the caller, then heading outside to take the call.
Whip and Mark looked at each other and snickered. So, teachers could be caught doing the wrong thing too. Ha!
Outside, Rogue answered the phone.
"Hello, Duke?"
"Hey, Rogue," Duke replied. "Umm, I was wondering if I could talk to you?"
"Sure thing."
"Okay, good. Thanks. I just didn't know who else to talk to about this and I'm going nutty."
Rogue chuckled.
"I understand. I'm guessing this has something to do with your powers?"
"Yes! I'm going nuts! The only people who aren't treating me any differently are Mum, Robyn and telepaths. Oh, and Billy, but mostly because he doesn't know about better."
Rogue leant Duke a sympathic ear and gave what little advice she could give.
