"Julie?"
"Aranince?"
"What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
"Good point."
The girls eyed each other for a moment, then laughed. Julie sat down next to her.
"I love these parties."
"Yeah, same."
"I thought you were in New York."
Julie shrugged.
"Bobby and I broke up. I moved in with Zac."
"Ahh," Aranince considered, trying to remember what the state of things were last time she had spoken to Shannon.
She and Shannon were not talking these days.
"How many kids you got now?"
"Six. Three sets of twins," Julie sighed. "I love 'em, but they are a handful."
"Yeah," Aranince agreed, investigating Jlie with her magical senses.
Gee, what was with this girl? Three sets of twins? And if she was reading things correctly a future pregnancy would also be twins. Seriously, the odds against it must be huge. Was Julie just some sort of over-fertile freak? A latent mutant? Had someone fiddled with her in asome magical or even scientific manner to produce these results like the spell she had cast on Rachel?
Firther chatter and speulation was brought to an end when one of the cute boys at thie party approached Aranince. She gave a friendly wave to Julie and then went off with said boy to do fun things together.
