Angel opened the door of his room and flicked on the light. He closed the door behind him and shrugged his jacket off, tossing it over a chair before continuing on to his bedroom.
"Hi honey," Eve said, sitting on his bed. "You're home."
And then it all went black.

Angel's eyes opened slowly and he tried to sit up, only to find he was chained to his bed.
"I wanted to do this the old fashioned way," Eve said, grinning down at him. "You know, pure happiness and all. But, then, I thought about it some more... and I decided I wanted to do this in the most... painful way possible."
She sprinkled blood on his chest, and the shaman appeared from the shadows.
"Eve, you don't know what you're doing!" Angel struggled against the chains, desperately trying to free himself.
"Actually pumpkin, I do. Now be still, it'll all be over soon."
~*~*~*~
Eve unlocked the chains, holding a stake, poised, ready to strike.
Angelus opened his eyes and slipped into gameface, grabbing her wrist and bending it back while sitting up.
"Sorry dollface, didn't you get the memo? That doesn't work on me anymore."
"Ah! Hey, don't you want to know why I brought you back?" Eve asked, breathing through the pain.
"Let me guess, you need a date to the prom?" Angelus laughed. "Don't know why you did it, don't really care, but frankly, it's good to be home. Now, seeing as you did me a favour, I'm going to give you one."
Eve stared at him for a moment. "Ok?"
"I'm giving you ten seconds to run before I do the whole... killing you thing. One... two..."
Eve turned and left, disappearing through the entrance she'd made for herself.
"Mmm, be seeing you later, kid," Angelus called after her. He looked around. "Now, this is nice. Soul boy is moving up in the world."

"Uh, Boss?" Harmony asked, seeing Angel heading for the exit. "You have a meeting - "
Angelus waved his hand. "Cancel it, babe."
