Angel and Spike stood side by side in the alley, waiting somewhat impatiently for their source to come out.
"I helped save the world, you know," Angel began.
"Like I haven't," Spike interrupted.
"Yeah," Angel dismissed. "But I've done it a lot more."
"Oh please!"
"Closed the Hellmouth," Angel continued.
"I've done that!" Spike interjected.
"Ha, you wore a necklace, you know I helped kill the Mayor and uh, Jasmine."
"Do those really count as saving the world?" Spike wondered.
"I stopped Acathla," Angel put in. "That saved the world."
"Buffy ran you through with a sword," Spike argued.
"Yeah, but I made her do it," Angel scorned.
Spike glanced at him, raising an eyebrow.
"I signalled her with my eyes."
"She killed you! I helped her! That one counts as mine," Spike replied triumphantly.
"Shut up, I think he's here."
