Second Time Around

Written by AiMsTeR

Sam

Sam was looking up a few different addresses that he thought Faith may have been taking refuge in, not at all sure what he'd say to her if he ever did actually find her.

He scratched his head as he shifted slightly, then shook it as he felt a sudden headache...

Uh oh.

He pushed the laptop aside and grabbd his head, waiting for the pain to hit him.

Darkness again. Another shadow. A flash of red.

He took a few deep breaths as the warning flash ceased, then cringed and yelled out again as the big one came.

Another suburban house. A more derelict area than the first. A car license plate - QHE 357. House number 76. Lots of gardens. Plants in the window. The glint of a knife shining across the glass.

Inside, another victim. Female this time. A girl. Teenager. Hair color skewed by the amount of blood. Neck also broken, mouth open in a silent scream.

Sam snapped back to reality, blinking furiously as if that would make the pain go away. He grabbed a nearby bottle of water and opened the car door so he could lean out and wash his face with it. Dean would kill him if he -

He paused, the thought of Dean stopping him in his tracks.

Shaking it off, he got back onto is laptop and looked up the license plate. It gave him an address, and he started the car and took off.
