Gunn watched the spectacle in the lobby from the safety of his office.
"Ho freaking ho," Spike commented, poking his head out of his own office and glancing down at Gunn. He nursed a mug of warm blood in his hands.
"He likes Christmas," Gunn said, shrugging, eyes still focused on the lobby, where Angel was ordering staff members around and lecturing them on the correct way to hang decorations.
"He's a sodding vampire and he's decorating a bloody tree!" Spike exclaimed. "It's against vampire religion."
Gunn raised an eyebrow. "There's a religion now?"
"Well... no," Spike admitted. "But it does make him seem less scary."
"Or more scary, depending on how you view it," Gunn quipped.
"'Tis the bloody season," Spike replied, shaking his head.
