"Faith? Are you sure you want to..." Angel touched her shoulder lightly, his other arm around Tru.
Faith looked up at him, before returning her attention to the water lapping around her ankles.
"We're sure," Tru said to Angel, moving to stand beside her mother. She reached for Faith's hand.
Faith and Tru walked into the ocean, the water making their clothes stick to their legs as they walked further in, waist height in the ocean.
Angel watched from his place on the shore as the pair carefully scattered rose petals into the water.
"Happy birthday, Lia," he said quietly.
