The van was parked in a little clearing off the highway, out of sight to anyone who may be driving by.
Smithy jumped out of the drivers seat and wrenched the back door open, brandishing a syringe.
"This will bloody shut you up," he snarled.
Faith grabbed him, using the chains to hold him in a chokehold. "How about this? I'll be quiet, and you can scream."
Weatherby and Collins appeared in the entrance of the truck.
"Now, you unchain me, very slowly and politely, or I kill this guy," Faith told them. "And you know I will."
"When we go on a job, we always put our affairs in order first, in case of accident," Collins replied coldly.
Faith glanced down at Smithy in shock, and his eyes were round with fear.
"Collins!" he choked.
"Sorry, Smithy," Collins said, turning his back as he went back to the front of the truck. "She's starting to bother me."
"Getting her across the border is gonna be a lot more trouble than it's worth," Weatherby commented, slamming the back doors of the truck closed and locking them.
"If the council can even get us passage. I'll call them. It's time for a contingency plan," Collins told him.
Sam & Dean
"Where is she?" Sam demanded, throwing the doors to Angel's office almost off their hinges as he barged in.
"Sam," Dean said in a warning tone, his younger brother ignoring him.
Angel
Angel looked up in surprise.
"Faith?" he asked in confusion. "I haven't seen her."
Sam & Dean
"ANGEL!" Sam bellowed.
"SAM!" Dean counteracted, grabbing his arm, "come on, we'll find her our way."
"Angel she's gone," Sam looked him dead in the eyes.
"I don't know when."
Angel
Angel barely flinched when Sam shouted, though he was a little surprised, as Sam had always seemed so mild mannered.
That wasn't the point.
"Gone?" he repeated, standing from his seat.
Sam & Dean
"Am I speaking a language you don't understand?" Sam scorned.
"SAM!"
Sam stopped himself, then left the office in a huff. Dean watched him go, then looked up at Angel sorrowfully.
"You got any way to track her down?" he asked.
Angel and Wesley
"Yeah," Angel said to Dean. "Spike and I... we'll get on it."
~*~*~*~
"My part is done," Wesley argued, hand clasped tightly around the phone.
"I gave you her location, I will play no other role in this!"
Dean & Sam
Dean nodded.
"Call my cell," Dean turned to leave.
~*~
Sam walked past the door to Wesley's office, just catching the last part of the conversation.
Eyes glowing - though not literally - he stormed into the office, went around the desk to where Wesley was still on the phone, grabbed him by the shirt and slammed him back against the wall.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" he bellowed.
~*~
Dean, meanwhile, heard the crash. He turned back to look at Angel, then bolted for Wesley's office.
Angel and Wesley
Angel followed Dean swiftly, stopping in the doorway of Wesley's office.
"Nothing!" Wesley protested.
Sam & Dean
"Don't LIE TO ME!" Sam pulled him forward and slammed him back again.
"Sammy?"! Dean demanded, walking over to the desk.
"Where is she?" Sam demanded, his arms shaking with anger.
Wesley and Angel
Wesley's eyes pleaded with Angel, but the vampire remained stoic.
"I don't know!" he told Sam. "Honestly!"
"Wesley," Angel said, his voice dangerous. "You might want to make with the talking. Because it's Faith that's missing. And you know how the three of us feel about her."
Dean & Sam
Dean was torn between stopping his brother from killing Wesley, and waiting until they got the information they needed. He stopped just a few feet behind Sam, ready to take action if he had to.
"Talk now or forever hold your peace. And when I say forever, I mean ten seconds," Sam raised his fist in aim for Wesley's face.
Wesley and Angel
"The Council..." Wesley managed to get out. "She's with the Council."
"'With' suggests she went willingly, Wesley," Angel told him. "Which I don't think she would. What was your part in this?"
"I..." Wesley's voice faltered. "I gave a signal. That is all."
Sam
"Where have they taken her?" Sam sneered, still aiming his fist.
Wesley
"There are headquarters, temporary ones," Wesley managed to get out. "They need to clearance to cross the border."
He coughed.
"I don't know the exact location, I swear it! I only had one part."
Sam & Dean
Sam paused for a long moment, debating whether or not to hit him anyway, until Dean grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back.
"Come on, that's all we need," Dean patted his back, leading him from the room.
He shoved him out the door when he got there, giving Angel another look.
"We'll bring her back," he nodded, before following Sam out.
Angel and Wesley
"Wesley, pack your desk, you're gone," Angel said, turning around.
Wesley stared after the vampire. "Angel!"
