Just A Package

Written by Nessa

Faith

Faith's eyes opened slowly, and she tried to get up, struggling when she felt the chains clamped around her ankles and wrists.

"Well," Weatherby commented callously. "It's awake."

Faith's head was pounding as she looked up. "Who are you?"

"Council. We're taking you back to the mother country. Seems you've been a naughty girl," Weatherby replied.

"What?" Faith blinked, eyes feeling heavy. "This is a mistake. Let me go!"

"Afraid we can't do that," another man, Collins, told her. "You're a package. And I'm gonna deliver the package. I don't care what's inside."

"I care!" Weatherby snapped. "The Watcher's Council used to mean something. You perverted it. You trash. We should have killed you while you were asleep."
