Charmed, I'm Sure

Written by Michelle

Nick and Isabel

The trick to seducing women, Nick had decided, was to put yourself into their mind. Make them think about you all the time. His power gave him an advantage, but only when he was actually there. When he was gone, the effects of his power would linger for a short time, and then he would be no more momental than any other person.

Nick had no intention of being 'any other person'.

Locating Isabel was the easy part - the SPM kept close tabs on the members of the Usurper's family. Getting her attention, now, that was another issue.

Isabel stepped outside and headed towards the student carpark. Before she had gotten far, however, a motorcycle parked almost right in front of her. The rider got off the bike and took off his helmet, revealing a terribly handsome young man with dark hair. He caught her eyes and walked up to her. Isobel felt overwhelmed with the force of his presence.

"Could you tell me where the head office is?" he asked her.

It took Isabel a minute to register he had just asked her a question.

"Oh! Umm, just... over there," she said, pointing. "Go to the corner, take a left. You'll see a sign. Can't miss it."

"Right, Izzy, could you sound any more like a teenage girl with a crush?" she scorned herself.

"Thanks, beautiful," Nick replied, and departed before she coudl say another word.

Isabel stared after him, then shook herself and made her way to the car. He had just been asking directions, and lots of guys called her things like that - ever since high school. No big deal. She'd probably never even see him again.

And thus began Nick's subtle seduction.
