Willow finished hanging the decorations. This time, she'd reinforced the magical shields and alarms around the school so that nothing could attack the kids at their dance.

Cassie primped in her room, her long black hair cascading in ringlets. She spun around in fron of her mirror. The dress was one that her mother had gotten actually. Drusilla often left present lying about for her children when she passed through CLEVELAND> He idea of being a good parent, Cassie supposed. But family issues aside, the woman did have good taste. It was light pink dress, with an empire waistline that went right belowe her breasts, and the shirt flowed out beautifully. She really did look beautiful, and she knew it.

Joni fastened her black cloak. She had debated wearing her Jedi robes, but instead she decided to wear her Hogwarts robes. Everyone already knew she was obsessed with Star Wars, she decided to not be predictible, by wearing a Harry Potter costume instead.
"How do I look, Ille?" she asked her roommate.

Armelle brushed her hair out. She had decided not to dress up, seeing as how she really hated it. She was always having to dress up back in Denmark.
"So, Friday, think this dance will be anything like the last one?"
Illeanna, Friday, Eron XV and Saku
Illeanna looked at Joni and an amused expression appeared on her face.
"Very nice," she grinned at her. "What about me?"
She was wearing a pretty, deep blue cocktail dress.

"I hope not," Friday replied, zipping up her black boots. "This dress isn't made for kicking butt in."
She stood and patted the wrinkles out a bit.
"What's this preoccupation with wearing dresses to dances anyway? Seriously. Next time, I should just go as a guy and wear a tux."

Eron XV, Billy, Tim and a few others from the Paladin school arrived at the gates the same time as a number of students from the Watcher Academy arrived.
"Hey," Saku said cheerfully.
"Hi," Eron nodded.
"Hey, look the gates are already open this time," Tim grinned.
They all trooped inside.
Joni, Armelle, Orion, Draco and Liam
"You look awesome," Joni said. "We are definitely going to be the cutest aliens in the place."

"I'm boycotting dresses," Armelle said. "I decided just now. I'm made to wear more than enough back at home. So tonight, nice slacks and a sexy shirt," Armelle said, showing herself off. She was wearing one of those shirts that looks like a big bandanna tied across her boobs. Her pants were slinky, and hung off her hips just right.
"Your dress is awesome, though."

Orion looked around. It wasn't any of the slayers he wanted to dance with. It was Finola he was starting to get a crush on. He decided he was going to ask her to dance, and hopefully Declan wouldn't try to beat him up or anything.
"So, you gonna put the moves on Finola tonight?" Draco teased quietly, and Orion blushed.
"Shaddup," Orion said.

Liam slicked back his black hair and straightened his tie. His dad told him to wear a tie, so he did-- with jeans and a t-shirt. He walked over towards the guys from the paladin school.
"Hey, I'm Liam," he introduced himself.
Illeanna, Friday, Saku and Eron XV
"Yes, yes we are," Illeanna agreed. "Shall we go now?"

She did a little twirl in her sparkly red dress with its slanted skirt.
"Ready?"

Saku looked around at the girls. Not all of them were down here yet... oh that Gaia girl was still alive. Damn. The only thing that had kept her from following him around like a little lost puppy at the last dance was the demons breaking through the floor. Saku doubted he would be rescued in that manner again.
Still, maybe if he kept busy dancing with other girls...
Eron looked around for Friday. She didn't appear to be down here yet.
Finola, Orion, Joni, Armelle and Cassie
Finola bounced a bit on the balls of her feet. She'd let Maggie dress her up tonight. Finola wasn't usually one for fancy dresses or dances or parties, but she'd allowed herself to be talked into it. She'd been watching Orion in class all week. One of her powers was animal magic, so she felt connected with him, plus he kept looking at her, but she might be imagining things.
Orion took a deep breath and walked over to Finola.
"Would you like to dance?" he asked her. She nodded.
"Yeah," she breathed. He took her hand and pulled her onto the dance floor as a fast song played.

"Yep," Joni said, and they walked down to the dance.
"You know, when I found out I was going to an all-girls school, I got worried for a bit," Joni said, "But now I look out before me, see all these boys, and think, 'god is good,'" she giggled.

"Let's go," Armelle said, hooking her arm through her friend's. "To the place where they keep the boys."

Cassie walked down into the gym and knew that she'd turned a few heads. The combination of vampire allure, slayer sexiness, and feline nature caused her to literally exude sexuality. She headed over towards her brothers, and noticed Orion dancing with a girl she didn't know.
Illeanna, Friday, Eron XV and Saku
Illeanna giggled.
"Very good," she agreed, looking around at the boys and suddenly feeling self-conscious.

Friday chuckled as they made their way to the dance. Once there, Eron closed in on her.
"Would you like to dance?" he asked her.
Friday smiled.
"Sure," she replied.
And he led her out onto the floor.

Tiffany was eyeing off the boys trying to decide which ones she would allow to dance with her when she noticed Friday dancing with a particularily handsome knight. The sight infuriated her. She was the most beautiful one at the dance, not Friday. Why should she have a boyfriend and not her?

"May I have this dance?" Saku asked of Ginko.
Ginko looked up at him, a little surprised.
"Sure," she replied.
Oz
Oz wandered into the dance, searching out Willow. After a leisurely day of what would probably classify as 'hanging out' to other people, but what Dingo's classed as 'practicing', he was pretty tired, but willing to come along to dance with his girl.
Willow and Joni
Willow bounced as she saw Oz arrive. Every time she saw him, it was like she was 17 again, and so helplessly in love with him. She bounded over to him.
"Oz!" she said, kissing him. She knew she should show decorum in front of her girls, but she couldn't help herself.

Declan saw the girl dressed up like a Harry Potter character, and chuckled. She was very pretty. He'd never seen her before, so he figured she must be one of the new girls. He walked over.
"Hi, I'm Declan,"
"Joni," she answered.
"I like your costume," he said.
"Thanks, I love Harry Potter. Well, I'm really a huge Star Wars geek, but everyone expected me to wear my Jedi robe, so I decided to surprise them," she giggled.
"You like Star Wars? I LOVE Star Wars. I like movies in general, especially old movies."
"I love old sci-fi movies," Joni said. "Especially the alien ones, because they're all wrong. I should know, I'm an alien."
"Awesome," Declan said. "Which type?"
"Semirellian. I'm telekinetic," she said.
"Dude, you can totally use the Force!" he said, and she laughed.
"That's what I tell everyone!" they both laughed.
"Would you like to dance?" he asked her. She nodded.
:"I'm not very good," she warned, but followed him out to the dance floor.
Illeanna, Eron XV and Friday
Illeanna felt slightly envious of her roommate to be asked to dance so soon. It was then that she felt a tap on the shoulder.
"Hi," said the brown-haired boy. "I'm Reagan."
"Illeanna."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you."
"Would you like to dance?"
"Sure."

Friday did a twirl, her dress whirling around her. Eron smiled and her her close.
"You look very beautiful tonight," he said softly.
"Thank you," Friday replied.
Oz
Oz kissed her back, leaving his arm around her waist as the kiss ended.
"Hey."
Willow, Cassie and Percy
Willow pulled back from the kiss. "Lets dance," she said to Oz.

"You do look awesome, Cass," Percy told his sister.
"I know," Cassie said, laughing at her own feline arrogance. Liam walked over to the two.
"Yo, Perce," he said, hi-fiving the cat guy.
"Yo," Percy replied.
"Cass, darling, you look smashing," he said.
"Thanks," Cassie said, blushing a bit and spinning around.
"Want to dance?"
"Sure," Cassie said. She followed him out to the dance floor.
Saku
"May I cut in?" asked Gaia, tapping Ginko on the shoulder.
"Oh, sure," Ginko replied, allowing Gaia to take her place with Saku, not noticing the look of horror on his face.
Ginko left the floor and Gaia latched onto Saku.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully.
"Hi," Saku replied, trying not to groan audibly.
Oz
"As you wish."
Oz took her hand, kissed it, then started to lead her out onto the dancefloor.
Cassie, Liam, Giles, Joni, Declan and Willow
Cassie pressed against Liam, somewhat seductively, as the house music sped up. She really loved to dance, and she knew she was hot.
Liam was a pretty good dancer himself, and they were really getting into it. Their moves were starting to get slightly risque. Halfway into their third song, Giles came up and tapped them on the shoulder.
"You're getting inappropriate," Giles said gently. "Tone it down, please." Liam blushed and hung his head a bit, but they did, indeed, tone down their raunchy dancing. A slow song came on next, and they stopped to go get a drink.

As a slow song came on, Joni put her hands on Declan's shoulders. He put his hands around her waist.
"What's your favourite movie?" he asked.
"Star Wars episode 4: A New Hope," she answered without even thinking, "Although I really like them all."
"I love those movies, too," Declan said. He couldn't believe how pretty she was. And she liked movies.

"You are completely awesome," Willow said, dancing close to Oz as the slow song came on.
Kella
Kella giggled as she sat down after another dance. She loved this. Dancing with all the boys. She had to give Cassie points for having the guts to go risque at a school dance though.
She eyed off Tiffany who was also on the floor now and grinned. In some ways, Tiffany was her natural archnemesis for the boys, but she resented being compared to her. Their brands of flirting were very, very different. Tiffany went to them, while Kella insisted the boys come to her.
Oz
Oz wrapped his arms around Willow's waist and rested his forehead against her's.
"I try, for you."
Willow and Armelle
Willow felt so happy to be dancing with Oz again.

Armelle danced with a couple of boys she didn't really know, and really got into it. Not as into it as Cassie apparently got. Saying thank you to the boy she was dancing with, she wandered over to Friday and Eron.
"Awww, look how cute Willow looks," she said to Friday. "Do you know who he is?"
Friday and Eron
"Not a clue," Friday shrugged as Eron handed her a drink. "Thank you."
"No problem," Eron replied. "I don't know who he is either."
Oz
"So, Will," Oz said, kissing Willow on the forehead. "Should we grab a drink?"
Willow and Armelle
"Sure," Willow said.

"Wow, tonight's going by really fast," Armelle said, pointing to the big clock. "Dance is almost over."
Friday and Eron
"It was rather uneventful, huh?" Friday mused. "I mean, lets face it, it's pretty hard to top the last one on entertainment value, what with the floor imploding and the demon force attacking."
Eron chuckled.
Willow
Willow handed Oz a glass of punch and decided to take the chance to introduce the guitarist to some of her older students.
"Good evening Friday, Eron, Armelle, this is Oz," Willow said
Friday and Eron
"G'evenin'," Friday replied, looking at Oz curiously.
Eron gave a nod.
Oz
Oz nodded at the girls.
"Hi."
Willow and Joni
Willow was bouncing slightly with giddiness. She liked dances, she loved her school, and she loved being with Oz.
