Down on a road she shouldn't take

Avery

Avery blinked, convinced that when she looked again there would have a different answer. It just had to have a different one.

Oh please God... please change the answer.

Nope, still the same.

Holy crap... Talan...

She tucked the incriminating test into a plastic bag and then tossed it into the bin. She then moved to the sink and washed her hands, all the while looking at her reflection, wondering if she would look different now.

Oh God...

Avery dried her hands and headed for her bedroom, looking around for a sweater to quickly throw on. As she picked the nearest one up, she looked at it for a long moment.

Laguna Surf and Sport.

It was Talan's.

She threw the sweater down as if it had bitten her, before shaking her head at her own stupidity. It was just a sweater. It had obviously just gotten mixed up with the packing the night they left Cabo. It didn't mean anything.

Avery pulled it on and left her room, headed right for the community hall. She had to go see a doctor.
