Duke got out of the car and waved goodbye to the driver before heading inside. Rowena was waiting for him, his little brother Billy in her arms.
"How'd the photo shoot go?" she asked him as she held the door open with her foot.
"Good," Duke replied. "But those photographers are weird. Plus I think one of the was gay."
"I see. Guess soon you'll be on a couple of magazines."
"Yep."
"You've done your interview already?"
"Yep," Duke repeated, then rubbed his hands together boyishly. "This is so cool."
"Well, I have something else exciting for you?"
"Yeah?"
"They played the ad for the show today."
"Oooh!" Duke exclaimed, eyes wide. "You recorded it?"
"Yes."
"Can I see? Please, please, please?"
Rowena smiled.
"The tape's sitting in the machine."
"Yay!"
And Duke bounded off to the lounge room to watch the 30-second ad.
Psylocke
"Prince Harry's "Royal Pictures" presents Fairview. Just another quaint English town. Or is it?"
Psylocke watched as some select, melodramtic clips from the new mutant soap opera "Fairview" played.
"Human or mutant, people remain the same. Fairview, a new drama with real life special effects, coming soon."
"Real life special effects?" Psylocke repeated to herself. "Yeah... Okay."
Prince Harry and Miette
"Excellent," Miette said.
"I thought so," Prince Harry agreed, turning the tape off.
"I bet my brother will be ecstatic."
Prince Harry grinned.
"I'm glad he pleased the casting director enough to get a part. It looks good. Realy good. I can't believe I'm producing a soap opera and hoping it'll be successful and actually being excited about it."
Miette laughed.
