Lo handed Avery a tall glass filled with lemonade, before setting her own glass down on the table. She slid into her sun chair, readjusting the Dior sunglasses on her face.
"So... what do you think of the good old LB?" Lo asked, turning to face the other girl.
"It's pretty," Avery replied, flicking a stray hair from her face. "A really great place to escape to."
"And escape from," LC spoke up, from the chair on the other side of Lo. "Trust me, you spend too long here and you get a bit stir crazy."
Avery grinned. "I can imagine that. After all, there are only so many boys, right?"
LC smirked. "Right."
There was a long pause, while the three girls just basked in the sun, turning over every so often to ensure an even tan.
"I can't believe you guys are going back to the Station so soon," LC said, frowning. "I'm totally going to be lost without you again, LoBo."
Lo smiled at her. "Well... we're thinking of doing a road trip of sorts to Cabo. Stephen and Talan are totally in. We're working on Trey."
"But school," LC pointed out. "None of our parents will let us miss it..."
"Unless," Lo started, a devious grin on her face. "What if we forged some notes to make it look like a school camp? My mom and dad won't talk to yours in time to work out that we were lying..."
LC grinned. "You, are a genius. She is, don't you think, Aves?"
"Totally," Avery laughed, glancing over at the two blondes. "But how do we get there?"
"Trey's a teleporter," LC informed her. "Which is why they're working on him. If not, we can fly. Our parents are surely going to give us money for travel when they think it's for school."
And so the three girls worked on formulating a plan that would help them extend their summer holidays.
