Saku yawned as he trotted down the stairs into the kitchen.
"Hi Dad," he said.
"Hey," Zac replied, sounding rather subdued.
"Something wrong?"
Silently, Zac handed Saku a piece of paper.
"Thanks for having us. We'll be in touch, love you," Saku read. "What... oh... Tru and Airlia left?"
"Yup."
"Darn. And we were having so much fun."
Zac shrugged.
"I suppose I can't blame them, really. They are their mothers' daughters."
"Funny about that."
"You know what I mean."
"Yeah. I'm sure we'll see them again sometime."
