Niagara Falls

Written by Michelle

Friday

Friday leaned on the rail and looked out over Niagara Falls. She, Kella and Susie had been told that the falls looked best on the Canadian side, so that's where they were.

"They're not as big as I thought they would be," Friday said. "Everyone makes them out to be totally huge..."

"Too much hype?" Kella asked.

"Way too much."

"The rainbows are pretty though."

"Very."

After they were suitably bored will looking at water fall, the girls headed into the main building. Friday giggled upon seeing a sign with directions on it.

"Look," she chuckled.

It took Kella a moment to realise, but she too laughed when she saw the words "ATM (Bank machine)".

"I suppose they wouldn't call them ATMs in all countries," Susie obverved.

"Shh!" Friday said. "There's no need to be sensible about it."

She lifted her camera and took a photo of the amusing sign, and the girls headed inside to buy suveniers.

After they were done in the store, they headed into the town to look at all the tourist trap shops. They went into the MGM store and giggled over the statuettes and what they were awarded for. They found a store with maple sugar candy and were completely won over (although it was that sweet you couldn't eat too much of it, even if you wanted too).

At the end of the day, the girls were worn out. Not even slayers' feet are immune to the pain of walking around all day long.
