Controversy

Written by Nessa and Michelle

Housemates

"This is Big Brother," the voice boomed through the house, interrupting the housemates during dinnertime.

"What's going on?" Skye whispered, giving a sidelong glance to David.

"Shhh," Elle replied.

"It has come to Big Brother's attention that two of your housemates have deceived Big Brother before entering the house, and therefore, will be removed from the house. David and Skye, you have five minutes to pack your bags. That is all."

Immediately the housemates flew into a state of panic, with David and Skye running to the bedroom to pack their things, both suspecting what the whole thing was about. The rest of the housemates were completely confused and had no idea what was happening.

"What did you lie about?" Matt asked, helping David throw his clothes into his bag.

"I don't know if I can say," David replied, rushing to the bathroom to pack his toiletries. "The boys can have my toilet rolls."

Ebony and Keahi

Ebony and Keahi looked at each other.

"Well," said Keahi. "This was unexpected."

"Do you suppose we shoudl give Skye a hand packing?" Ebony asked thoughtfully.

"Half the girls are already in there," Keahi observed. "We'd probably just get in the way. Too may cooks and all that."

"True."

Housemates

Moments later, they were packed.

"This is Big Brother, Skye and David, you must leave through the Diary Room immediately."

Skye and Dave grabbed their bags and started doing the rounds, saying goodbye.

Ebony and Keahi

"Bye Skye, Bye Dave," Ebony said.

Keahi gave each of them a hug.

Housemates

A few seconds later, Dave and Skye had disappeared through the Diary Room and the housemates were left reeling with the shock eviction.

However, Big Brother didn't give them long to settle.

"This is Big Brother."

"Oh God, what now?" Jake whispered.

"All housemates to the lounge."

Ebony and Keahi

"Why am I nervous all of a sudden?" Keahi asked.

"Oh you are too?" Ebony inquired as the housemates made their way to the lounge. "I thought I was the only one whose stomach was twisting into knots."

Keahi grinned.

They entered the lounge and took their seats.

Housemates

"Housemates... please say hello to your new... housemates," Big Brother's voice boomed through the house, before the diary room door opened and 4 people came bursting out.

A sudden wave of commotion hit the house, with everyone sturggling to come to terms with what had just happened, and introduce themselves to the newcomers all at once.

"I'm Aleisha!" a petite, cute blonde girl piped up, ducking under the tangle of limbs.

"Billy."

"Emma."

"Bodie!"

Ebony and Keahi

Ebony swallowed. New housemates? After two just got kicked out?

"Hi!" Keahi said, greeting them enthusiatically.

Housemates

"This is huge," Jake murmured to Elle.

"I know," she replied softly.

"So where are you from? What do you do? How old are you? Single or taken?"

The new group of four laughed as questions came firing at them, and Emma answered first.

"LA, I'm a personal trainer, 22 and I'm taken."

"I'm Bodie, I'm from New York, I'm an electrical designer with a minor background in underwear modelling." Bodie grinned cheekily at this statement. "And I'm single."

"I'm Billy, I'm from Sydney, but I just got back from travelling all over the world before coming in here, I'm 23 and I was an insurance broker, but I'd been working as a ski instructor in Canada."

"I'm Aleisha!" the tiniest girl began excitedly. "I'm from Melbourne, or really rural Victoria, I'm 20, but turning 21 soon, I hope I'm in here for it, and I'm a hairdresser."

Ebony and Keahi

"Hey cool," said Keahi. "If you're here for it, we'll throw you a huge 21st party. That's so awesome."

"Well, as big as we can, anyway," Ebony mused, wondering if it would be possible to get extra party stuff out of Big Brother, like balloons.

Housemates

"Awesome!" Aleisha said, her grin widening.

"So, what's it been like in here?" Billy asked.

"Up and down," Jake answered.

Ebony

"One big Ferris wheel," Dale nodded in agreement. "Round and round, up and down."

"I hate Ferris wheels," said Matt.

Ebony giggled.

Housemates

Aleisha was still bouncing in excitement, as she and Emma started talking about anything and everything.

"Sorry if we seem a bit shell shocked," Elle told the two boys. "We just had two people leave right before you came in."

"Oh man," Bodie whistled. "Heavy!"

Keahi and Ebony

"Yeah, we're not even sure why," Keahi said. "Something about lying to Big Brother."

"Are we even allowed to talk about it?" Ebony asked, looking around at everyone.

Housemates

Jake shrugged. "I guess we better not, to be safe, until Big Brother gives us the go ahead."

"Do you guys want the tour?" Elle asked the newcomers excitedly.

"For sure!"

Ebony and Keahi

Ebony nodded thoughtfully in response.

"Well," Keahi giggled. "This is the lounge room. And you've all seen the diary room."

Housemates

"Kitchen," Jake said, leading the four new arrivals and gathering quite an entourage, as everyone wanted to be around.

"We have a shopper/chef each week, they do the weekly shopping for us, and cook dinner for a week. Usually the first up will cook the porridge for brekkie," Elle continued.

Emma nodded. "Cool."

Ebony and Keahi

"We keep the coffee and tea in that cupboard," Keahi said pointing. "Coffee is our friend."

"Obviously, Keahi is a coffee addict," Ebony said with a smile.

"But it's sooooo gooooood."

Housemates

"Do we get stuff for hot chocolates?" Aleisha asked.

Jake nodded. "Yep, we have all of that too."

"Oh cool, I don't really drink coffee," she replied.

"Ok, so we'll head outside," Elle announced, leading them out to the garden.

"Spa, sauna... banana chair things."

Housemates - Michelle

"They've very comfy," Dale said, demonstrating the comfyness of the 'banana chair things'.

He stretched out and relaxed, closing his eyes.

Housemates

"Gym," Elle pointed.

"Awesome," Emma piped up. "I was hoping I wouldn't go all fat and gooey in here! And I'm a personal trainer, so if anyone wants me to help them with a work out plan..."

Bodie nodded. "Yes please!"

Ebony and Keahi

Ebony grinned.

"Yeah," said Keahi. "I was glad to find the gym too. I'm a surf instructor, so yeah, just because there's no surf in the house didn't mean I had an excuse to get out of shape."

Housemates

Aleisha giggled. "I will have to get IN shape then!"

Bodie grinned at her. "You're in perfect shape!"

"For a country bumpkin," she laughed. "I could be more toned."

"So, tomorrow morning, aerobic session?" Emma asked.

"Hell yeah!" a few housemates agreed.

Ebony and Keahi

"Marvellous," Keahi said.

"The showers are right over there," Ebony said, pointing. "So conveiniently close."

Housemates

"Oh cool," Emma said, only half paying attention.

"So is there like a routine?" Bodie asked. "Like who makes breakfast, lunch, dinner, when we have to clean the house, and all that junk?"

Elle nodded. "But we'll explain that in a minute. We'll probably need to sit down with the chore lists for that."

Ebony and Keahi

"Ugh, chores," Keahi said melodramatically.

Ebony giggled.

And so the housemates completed the tour and introduced their new housemates to the chores and routines of the Big Brother house.
