Letter of Requirements

Written by Nessa and Michelle

Bree

Bree tapped the screen with her fingernail, looking over at Beanie.

"So, this is it then?" she asked, glancing back at the screen.

"Mmmhmmm," he replied. "This is what they can take into the house, what they can't, the contract which allows us to show their every move, except toilet business, of course, and what they should do beforehand. Rules and regulations, the same kind of thing you got when you went in."

"Only with the telepathy clause. Also, one of our housemates is able to go invisible. We'll have to insert a special clause for that, otherwise she could win it by just not being there for her housemates to get annoyed or anything with her," Fryzie spoke up.

"Yeah, she must remain partially visible at all times, or she faces penalties from Big Brother. I mean, if she wants to make her body invisble while showering, hey, that's fine with us, but she MUST have her head visible at all times," Beanie answered.

"Ok, so what's going on so far?" Mike asked.

"Well... we're putting a telepathic block on all our housemates. This prevents contact with the outside world and also, conversations that we won't be privy too. We can't risk people telepathically planning to kill someone - worst case scenario. Or telepathically strategising and talking about nominations. It's gotta be fair," Beanie started.

"Ebony Camberwell will have the visibility clause in her contract. She breaks that, and we can boot her off the show, sue her, or whatever the big guys think we should do," Gianna cut in.

"Basically, it'll be the same kinda thing we had," Bree went on. "Except the house will be a kinda neutral ground. We've had a sanctuary spell done for it, so there can be no violence in the house, or the yard. That way, no one can attack another with powers, or physically. Plus, the house itself has power neutralisers built in, so their powers will not be as strong as on the outside world. Just to prevent accidents and stuff."

"Friday Night Live this year is going to be like the YIRAAS's Anything Goes Challenge. The sanctuary spell will be lifted, their powers will be de-neutralised... is that the right word? Anyway, they will be paired off and will be put in a ring to fight it out. The winner of which will get the rewards room and so on," Beanie said.

A few hours later, the letter was ready to be sent out.

~*~*~*~

Dear Potential Housemate,

Following the phonecall which you received on the 27th, we are delighted to inform you that you have been confirmed into the next stage, of lockdown.

This new special Big Brother will be full of twists and turns and should not be entered into lightly. If chosen successfully, there are certain rules and regulations you must follow, not only for your own safety, but as a legal necessity.

Big Brother will not tolerate any breaking of his rules. His word is final and absolute and if he so chooses, you may be removed from the house at any time.

For obvious reasons, a telepathic block will be put into your mind upon entering the house. This is to prevent attacks, contact with the outside world, contact which can not be monitored. You have signed up to have every word, every action and reaction of yours to be recorded and viewed.

All actions of the house will be shown - except for your use of the amenities for personal use. If the toilet is entered to talk, to cry, to be sick, this will be shown, however, you will not be shown for personal activities.

If anyone entering the house, has the power of invisibility, they will be required, at all times, to have at least their head shown. If they fail to comply with this rule, they will be dealt with however Big Brother sees fit. This could mean an early eviction from the house. If they cannot adhere to the rule due to a limited capability of power, they must inform Big Brother ASAP and a block off of their power will be placed inside their head - or they will not be permitted to enter the house.

List of items which can be taken into the house:

+ Toiletries - any dangerous items may be taken away from you

+ Clothes - pack for both cold weather and hot weather

+ Swimsuit

+ Any objects you may wish to play with in the house - games, balls, etc Any medication which you may require to be take, should be given to Big Brother for safekeeping. You will be given your medication in the Diary Room each time you need to take it.

Things which CANNOT be taken into the house:

+ Writing equipment - pens, pencils, paper, markers, etc

+ Cellular phones - any communication devices, two way radios, etc

+ iPods or any musical device, such as CD's, CD players, mp3 players, etc

+ Weapons or any dangerous item

+ Books

+ Messages to the outside world

+ Food

A further list of guidelines and rules have been attached and enclosed.

Congratulations again on advancing to this stage of the competition.

Remember, Big Brother is always watching.

Ebony

Upon receipt of the letter from the Big Brother crew, Ebony wondered, yet again, how it was she got talked into auditioning (let alone why she was even being accepted). For a moment, she was tempted to tell them she wasn't capable of partial invisibility, but as the letter was then physically taken from her hands and read by her nearby friends, they would know the conditions and that her claim would be false.

Oh, yes, that was why she got talked into it. Because all her friends were into something adventurous and she needed to do something to prove she wasn't chicken. Except that she was chicken, and she knew it, and wasn't quite certain why it was so important to her to prove that she wasn't.

Well, it was too late to back out now.
