Psylocke read through her character synopsis again. It was about the only thing she had of her character right now. The script was waiting final approval. That's what she and the rest of the cast and crew were now waiting for. The hot shots were in a room not 100 metres away discussing just that.
Prince Harry and Miette put down the script and looked at each other.
"So?" Miette asked. "What do you think?"
Prince Harry nodded.
"I like it," he said. "Let's do it."
Miette grinned. They stood, opened the door and walked into the room where the writers in particular were waiting in nervous anticipation.
"Let's do it," Prince Harry repeated for their benefit.
The crowd cheered. Prince Harry grinned broadly.
It was really, finally happening. Now they just had to get the human actors, but that was going to be a lot easier. Whilst they were waiting, the mutant actors would be practicing the mutant-only scenes, and the props required for those scenes would be constructed and otherwise acquired first. By then they should have their human componant sorted and the rest would be all downhill from there.
Psylocke joined in the celebration eagerly. She couldn't wait to get started.
"Hi, Psylocke, is it?"
She turned... and came face to face with Prince Harry.
"Oh, yes... your highness," she said.
Prince Harry waved a hand at her before she tried a curtsy.
"Oh, forget that," he said. "We're working together now. Well, kinda."
Miette chuckled, then reached out a hand.
"Miette Braddock," she said.
Psylocke took her hand, an amused smile on her face.
"My real name's Elizabeth Braddock."
"It's a very cool last name."
"Very much so."
The women chuckled, having taken an instant liking to each other.
