Willow waited for all the students to settle down in assembly before she made her announcement.
"Okay, so it's been a long day, and I know you're all anxious for the weekend. You have all been working very hard, and Mr. GIles and the rest of the staff and I are very proud of you. So, in honor of that, all of next weeks classes are cancelled and you're all on vacation!" The girls starte to cheer, and Willow held up her hands to silence them.
"If you would like to go home and see your families, you're welcome to. But for those who don't go home have a choice. You can spend the week at Professor Xavier's School for mutants in New York, or you can stay here on campus and just relax. Then, next Saturday- the 23rd, we're going to have another dance, and Xavier's school is invited as well. This time, I promise, there will be no demons breaking through the floor. Okay, that's it for announcements, feel free to celebrate."
Friday
"I like assembilies at this school," Friday mused. "Good news or bad, they're never boring. Ever school I ever went to, ti was boring. Even when I was being homeschooled I was bored and there was only three other students."
Katrina giggled.
"You were homeschooled?" Salena inquired.
"For about a year when I moved in with my father and his family."
"Oh cool."
"Well, that's not quite the word I would use..." Friday's feelings for her family still weren't favourable.
Armelle and Katrina
"I don't think I'm going to call home about this," Armelle mused. "My parents will have me back in Denmark for the whole week, and I'd rather just relax."
"Are you going to New York, Day?" Kat asked. "To see your friend, Julie is it?"
Friday
Friday shrugged.
"It's a little crowded at Julie's place already without adding someone else, so probably not," she replied. "What about you guys?"
Dakota
"Well," Dakota said with a bit of a smirk. "Frankie Muniz did say that any Slayer were welcome at his studio in Tulsa or his home in LA whenever they wanted. He has tons of extra rooms in Tulsa, and he's been beggin Keisha and I to get more slayers to work on the movie, so if anybody wanted to go hang out in Tulsa for the week, it might be fun."
"I'm going to New York," Darcy said. I've been emailing some of the kids from Xavier's, and some of them seem somewhat cool."
Friday
"I think I'll go home," Carlee said. "It'll be nice ta show off to my brothers again. They always used to do everything around the farm better than I could until I got slayer powers. Except milking cows. I rocked at that."
"So, you were a milkmaid, huh?" Friday grinned.
"You could say that," Carlee grinned. "Ahh, it was so awesome when i got my slayer strength. I could carry two bales of hay at once, and they were stuck doing one at a time. Suckers."
Friday chuckled.
Darcy and Lazer
"So, Dar, what are we doing still here?" Lazer asked. "Let's blow this popsicle stand."
"Sounds good to me," Darcy said, glaring at Tiffany.
