Moving

Christian

"Yes?" Christian looked up from his study as he heard Dr Morton approach.

The doctor sighed.

"You've been relocated," he announced.

"Meaning...?"

"You've been moved to a room that allows you use of your telekinesis. I'll show you where if you're ready."

Christian's eyebrows rose.

"Why?" he asked with honest curiosity, beginning to get his papers together.

"Wayne called earlier today. He was pleased with the information you supplied him and wanted to see you rewarded."

"But I already got what I wanted," Christian shrugged as he slipped his bag over his shoulder after standing up, "I got to see Tanya again. That's all I asked for."

The doctor grunted a little and stepped aside.

"He also asked that your personal security be minimised, and for you to get extra food priviledges. The latter of which is already in place."

Christian just frowned.

"And you'll from now on only have one guard following you. Follow me."

Christian glanced at the guards, before pursing his lips and following the doctor.

They stopped at a room a little further from his own. When Dr Morton opened the door and indicated for Christian to step through, his eyebrows rose once again.

"It's big," was his first reaction, shivering a little as he felt how much more of his power was available.

"These rooms generally are. The walls don't have to be as close," the doctor pointed out, "do you have anything left in your other room?"

"Clothes," Christian shrugged, "nothing of importance."

"Well, you can fetch those and move into this room here. Vacate it within a few hours if you will, so we can use it for someone else."

"You don't seem very happy about this arrangement somehow," Christian couldn't help but smirk as he turned to face him.

Dr Morton took a deep breath.

"I respect Wayne's wishes," was all he said, "do move along."

Christian took another look around the room first, before following him out.

"Can I draw on the walls?" he asked suddenly.

"Excuse me?"

"Can I draw on the walls?" Christian repeated, "you know... I'm in the art workshop. I could borrow the tools..."

Dr Morton sighed, before continuing on his way.

"If you must."

Christian grinned to himself and followed him back.
