"Hello?"
"Hi Dr Morton, Wayne here."
"Ahh. How are you doing?"
"Well, thanks, and yourself?"
"Quite well. What can I do for you?"
"You know our favourite patient, Christian?"
"Indeed."
"You may recall I told you that he gave us a tip off."
"Yes."
"It's good. The place in question is definitely what he said it was. I just got the report this morning."
"Ahh, and now you want Christian to be rewarded for his contribution."
"Exactly."
"Might I point out that Christian has nothing to lose and everything to gain by tipping you off to his enemies? With you to cover his tracks, there's very little risk to him at all?"
"You think he has no desire to reform? This is all a game to get us to do his dirty work?"
"The thought had crossed my mind."
"Well, it's entirely possible. That's why he's in the care of you and your staff, not me and mine."
"Hmm."
"Anyway, I was just calling to let you know, and hoping you would pass on my gratitude?"
Dr Morton sighed.
"Fine. Extra food privalges."
"Now, now, no need to be stingy. Cut down on his personal security too. Oh, and give him one of those rooms that he can use his powers in."
"Don't you think that's being a little too generous?"
"Whether he did it for selfish reasons or not, this is going to be a huge hit. Huge! Even if Lucious isn't in the premesis, it's going to still be a huge blow against him. If Christian has been a YIRAAS member he would be receiving a far larger reward than he is now."
"Hmph."
The two men soon hung up.
