Crime Wave In Tulsa

Written by Nessa

Avery

Avery settled down on her bed and switched the TV on, idly flicking through the magazine on her lap.

"And now, our top story, a crime wave in our very own Tulsa?" the news reported said.

Avery looked up in interest, wondering if anyone had managed to remember what she looked like, or if her telepathic commands had in fact, actually put a stop to that.

"So far, police are baffled by what can only be described as the invisible thief. None of the victims have been able to make an ID of this thief and by all accounts, only remember wanting to hand the money over at the time."

She giggled and returned her attention back to her magazine as the news item went on in the background.

"... speculation that it could be a gang, and urge people to be especially careful."

"BORING," Avie chirped and changed the channel. She looked down at her magazine, hands absently reaching for her nailpolish. She glanced over at the dresser to see a large wad of cash spilling out of her bag.

It was good to be her.
