Hayden sat in her chair patiently, waiting for her make up artist to finish. She was flicking through a script for a new show that her agent had thought she'd be perfect for, and so far, she was quite enjoying the rough outline she'd been given.
"Hey," Bobby said, appearing next to her.
"Oh hey!" Hayden looked at him through the mirror and smiled. "What are you...?"
"First job," he replied, smiling back. "How are you?"
"Good, and you?" She paused. "Oh, so you're Robert Drake."
"Correct," he grinned. "And I'm good. Nervous, and feeling like an idiot, but good. I think."
"Well, that's quite a mix," Hayden replied. "But normal for the first job. I think."
"Reassuring." Bobby sat down in his own make up chair and let them start to do his work on him. "Script?"
"Yeah, new project, top secret. But it sounds very cool so far, and I think I will audition for it."
"Awesome."
The pair sat in silence for a moment, then Hayden was told they wanted to change her outfit, so got up, with a good natured groan and headed over to the wardrobe department.
Bobby's eyes followed her in the mirror, then he focused on what he was doing. If only any of his friends could see him now, they'd laugh. Modelling alongside Hayden Panettiere.
Crazy.

A few hours later, the shoot was done, and Hayden and Bobby had become fast friends, joking their way through the whole thing, playing and teasing, and generally getting along as though they'd been friends their whole lives.
"This was surprisingly fun," Bobby said, as they gathered their things.
"Yeah, get the right people in set and it's a whole lot of fun," Hayden replied, slinging her back over her shoulder. "But this was the most fun I've had on a modelling shoot."
She paused. "Here's my number. If you, you know, just want to hang out and get coffee or something. Or if you're ever doing this again and you need some support. Or advice."
Bobby was a bit taken aback, but then nodded. "Here's mine. I had fun."
He knew he was treading on dangerous ground here, after all, she was only 16, and he was married. But, he told himself, she was like his little sister, and he'd enjoyed today. There was nothing innappropriate in that.
So the pair swapped numbers and promised each other to catch up soon for a coffee and a chat.
And, they both defended to themselves, there was nothing wrong with making a new friend.
