Omen Intel

Dean, Sam & Ruby

Dean was doing some research on Sam's laptop when there was a knock at the motel door. Making sure he saved the web page in case the damn thing crashed, he went to answer it.

Seeing Ruby, his face hardened.

"What are you doing here?"

"A fine way to greet someone who keeps saving your ass," she folded her arms, "can I come in or not?"

Dean looked her up and down, then stepped back.

"What do you want?" he asked as she walked past him and headed for the bathroom.

"I have some information I thought you might want," Ruby tilted her head, listening.

"Oh yeah? What?"

"Nice try. I'm here to see Sam, not you."

"Bad timing. He's in the shower."

"What, you think I died a virgin? He hasn't got anything I haven't seen in a past life."

And with that, she stepped through into the bathroom. Dean's eyebrows rose as he heard the resulting yelp, then went back to his research.

"Sam, calm down. I just came to tell you something..."

"It couldn't have waited?!" he exclaimed, frantically wrapping a towel around his waist.

"The demons are coming, Sam."

"What?" his eyes widened.

"Lilith heard a rumour that the Winchesters had hit LA. She's sending scouts to confirm it. And if I found you this easy? It won't be long."

"But we can't leave yet. We're working a case!"

"Oh, right. The townhouse girl. Well... alright. I can see why you'd risk every human life on Earth for her wellbeing..."

Sam gulped.

"She brought this on herself, Sam. I don't know how you haven't figured it out yet. No one put a gun to her head and told her to research how to summon the dark side, ok?"

"That doesn't mean she has to die for it."

"It doesn't concern you what happens to her. Not anymore. Remember what happened last time I told you to get out? Or the time before that? You didn't listen! And look how many people had to die. So this time? We play by my rules. You're leaving LA. Tonight."

She turned on her heel and walkd back into the main room.

"Pack your stuff, you're hitting the road," she said solidly, before vanishing through the door.

Dean watched after her then raised an eyebrow.

"Sam? Wanna share with the class here?!"
