The Pact

Written by Nessa and Michelle

Bobby and Rebekah

The letter appeared in everyone's letter boxes, a delicate golden envelope with a silver wax seal, embossed with the letter D.

On matching golden paper, in neat handwritten script, where the following words:

We once promised each other that we'd be there for each other through thick and thin, no matter what was happening in our lives, we promised to drop it all and come running if another asked.

Now is the time to prove that loyalty.

London. November 25th.

An exact address closer to the date.

Who will show up?

- Demetria and Rebekah.

Bobby noticed the letters in the mailbox, one for him and another for Julie. He opened his and skimmed over it, smiling.

Ah, the pact.

Julie, Shannon, Rogue and Gambit

"Oooh pretty," Julie said, noticing the envelopes. "Someone getting married?"

She didn't think that Rogue had gotten to the invitation sending part yet.

Shannon opened her letter and nodded thoughtfully as she read its contents. She wondered briefly if Sergei would be there, then shook her head. Unlikely.

"Hey honey," Rogue said, giving Gambit a kiss. "This came for you at the mansion."

"Oh?" Gambit replied, taking the envelope. "Why would I get mail there?"

"I don't think Dem knows your current address."

"Dem?" Gambit repeated. "Why would she..."

Rogue shrugged.

"Shannon and I got one too," she said. "I doubt she's luring you into a trap."

Gambit gave her a look.

"Hey, I know it's bothered you that neither she nor her compatriots have retaliated since... y'know, but maybe they won't. It's been over a year. They probably got over it."

"Uh huh. Sure."

Gwen, Rebekah and Bobby

Gwen smiled as she and Mordred read over their invitations.

"This will be good."

Rebekah immediately called Dem so they could work out the rest of the plans.

Jono shrugged slightly at Angelo.

"Why not?" Angelo asked. "It'll be good to see everyone. And don't worry, I'm sure you and Bek are quite capable of being in the same room again. You are both civil when she drops the bub off."

"Mebbe," Jono replied. "I hurt 'er, Ange, and I don't know if I should go."

"Dem's your friend as well," Angelo pointed out. "It'll be fine."

Bobby went upstairs to his apartment and sat down on the armchair. It would be good to see everyone again.

"So," he said to Julie. "You in?"

Julie

"You kidding?" Julie said. "I wouldn't miss it."

This was going to be great.
