Rogue opened up her fuzzle travel case on the counter, revealing Zurina and her litter of fuzzles, now old enough to leave. Now that she wasn't travelling any more it was easier just to sell the baby fuzzle to Mitchel once they were old enough to leave their mother.
"Ahh, Zurina, your white," Mitchel nodded. "And her partner?"
"Verdae. Bright yellow with forest green stripes."
They both admired the babies, one orange, one yellow, onr forest-green, one forest-green with red stripes, one pale green and one yellow with red patches.
"Well, they all look happy and healthy, just like the last litter," Mitchel said. "Price is still the same."
Rogue nodded.
"Thanks," she said.
"Any more litters?"
"Yeah. Liberty and Azure had theirs within a few days of each other. Four more red, one maroon, one pink like Rosa, one aquamarine, one magenta, one aqua with magenta spots, one magenta with aqua spots, one striped aqua and magenta and one lavender."
"You're getting quite a variety there."
"I know," Rogue said, greatly pleased, then leant over. "Okay, Zurina, time to say bye bye."
Zurina seemed to give all her children little fuzzle hugs before jumping up onto Rogue shoulder and whimpered. Rogue's face fell.
"Oh honey, they'll be okay," she said, trying to assure her. "Mitchel's going to take good care of them, and find homes for them where they'll be very happy. I promise."
Rogue gave her a pat and a scratch 'under the chin' as it were.
"She's a bit more clingy than the rest of her family."
Mitchel nodded slowly.
"Maybe next time wait until you bring her cubs in?" he suggested.
"Okay," Rogue said agreeably.
