After a phone call from a jumpy Wesley, Angel had made the decision that it was time for himself and Faith to head back to the States in order to find out more about this myth and how it would involve Airlia. Of course, telling Faith was about as fun as he had thought it would be, and had the reaction he thought he was going to get. An immediate packing of bags and an urgency to leave and to leave now, leaving only enough time to submit flight plans.
And then he had to catch the knife that came flying his way when he was informed that bad weather was keeping them grounded. And that the amplifier was down for maintenance.
"Maintenance?! Maintenance?! Those people are aliens! Isn't their technology so much more advanced? Shouldn't there be no maintenance ever?!" Faith exclaimed angrily.
"Faith," Angel said calmly, holding his hands up. "I'm just as worried as you are, but it's no good getting worked up over - "
He ducked the axe that went flying.
"Ok, you have to stop with the weapons! This won't do her any good. And we don't know for sure this will happen now. Or even this year."
"But - "
"We'll call Wes, let him know to keep an extra eye on Airlia and let her know to be more careful than usual until we get home. And if you want, you can ask Kim to... or maybe Logan? To look after her?"
Faith made a face. "Alright. But I'm still angry. Maintenance."
With Faith calmer than before, Angel made the calls to everyone and then set her some training to get her anger out, before she freaked out and stabbed him.
