"So, how did you know?" asked Tanya.
Leroy looked up.
"How did I know what?"
"About Christian and Taylor both being tortured by Blakesley."
"Oh that."
Silence.
"Well?"
"Christian told me."
"He did?" Tanya asked in surprise. "When?"
"Well... you know that day when you had that emergancy?"
"Christian was the one on the phone?"
"He tried to pretend he was Taylor."
"Hmm."
"I'm sure you would have taken that call."
"Well, I'm sure you had a very interesting conversation."
"Tanya, don't be like that."
"How do you want me to be like? You're not in security anymore. Can't you just drop it? And I don't suppose you've done anything about Tad?"
"Tan-"
"Well, with any luck Natalie will be able to help and I'll be able to get rid of that fiend. With a pretty little note on his record about abusing his position."
"Tanya. Really."
"Leroy, I'm so tired of this."
"Hey, Christian was the one who called. Not me."
"I can imagine what you said to him though. I just wish I could make you understand."
There was more silence, then Tanya sadly moved out.
