Moving House

Written by Michelle and AiMsTeR

Isaac and Zac

"Well," Isaac said, looking around. "That appears to be the last of it."

"It would seem so," Zac nodded. "And boy, am I glad that all those cardboard boxes are out of my house. Dude, seriously, your house was destoryed by tornado. How could you possibly acquire that much stuff in the time you've been here?"

"We did need to replace stuff," Isaac pointed out.

"Clothes," Zac said. "And you weren't going to get new house stuff until after you moved in."

"Well, there were a few items that we bought before hand..."

"Ah ha! You've been trying to have two houses in one! You villian!"

"Zac?"

"Yes, Ike?"

"You're an idiot."

"And you're too materialistic."

"I am not."

"You're a telekinetic. You have to be. Otherwise your power is useless."

"Zac?"

"Yes, Ike?"

"We're coming back to the idiot thing again."

Taylor

"Quit bickering, the important thing is that we're out," Taylor chuckled, though he did feel a lot more down about suddenly leaving Zac.

He carried in a couple of ornaments and set them on the mantle.

"I like the idea of four bedrooms though. One for each of us and Nat if she needs to stay."

Zac and Isaac

"Ooooh Natalie," Zac teased.

"Zac, question?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you assuming affection between Tay and Nat?"

"Well, they're always holding hands - "

"That's how her power works. Duh."

"Yeah, but she's not always using her power when they're holding hands," Zac smirked. "Taylor and Natalie sitting in a tree. K I S S -"

"That's a good point," Isaac mused as Zac continued his little song.

Taylor

Taylor rolled his eyes, effectively hiding his blush.

"So I got used to it, that's all," he mumbled, setting the ornaments how he liked them and then heading for the kitchen.

Isaac and Zac

"Awwwwww..." teased Zac.

Isaac followed Taylor into the kitchen.

"You realise what we need in here," he said. "A coffee machine."

"Liked mine did you?" Zac grinned.

"Yes, dang it. I got used to having one, and it's all your fault."

Taylor

"We do need a coffee machine," Taylor agreed sincerely, glad the subject had been changed from Natalie.

"We had one at the apartment. Guess we forgot to replace it..."

Isaac and Zac

"Well, given that Zac has the master of coffee machines," Isaac said, "we didn't really need to get one. Although why you have a coffee machine far better than the one we had at the apartment when you drink way less coffee than we do, I have no idea."

"I'm just special," Zac nodded. "Plus, y'know, if it worth doing, it's worth overdoing."

"Ahh, I see. The alure of power."

"Something like that."

Taylor

"So we need a coffee machine," Taylor lay down insistantly.

"What else have we forgotten? Wait, we don't even have a clock..."

Isaac and Zac

"Well, we do have our watches. But yeah, a clock would be good," Isaac agreed.

"Oooh, a grandfather clock!" Zac beamed. "Get a grandfather clock. Grandfather clocks are cool. They go Bong!"

He then proceeded to say "Bong" a few more times.

"We get the idea, Zac."

Taylor

"Yes..." Taylor raised an eyebrow.

"And of course we need a grand piano instead of using Zac's now."

Isaac and Taylor

"Yes, that too," Isaac nodded. "And we should get some more instruments. I know we did buy a couple, but we did mostly use Zac's."

"You guys used a lot of my stuff, huh?" Zac mused.

"Well, we were staying at your place, dude."

"Point taken. Although, I still think Tad should have paid me rent."

Isaac chuckled.

"Speaking of which," he paused and lowered his voice, "any further developments? Or are you giving up?"

Zac snorted.

"Oh no," he said. "Just because you're out of the house does not mean the diabolical evil plotting ends. No, no, my boy, and neverfear: when your help is required, I'll let you know."

Zac cackled evilly. Isaac gave Taylor a look that plainly said "I told you we'd created a monster".

Taylor

Taylor chuckled and fetched something from the cupboard to eat.

"Guess we need groceries as well."

He huffed.

"And I for one really can't be bothered going out."

Isaac

"Well, we could do that whole ordering over the internet thing," Isaac said. "But that might take a day or so to get here. I know what you mean about not feeling like going out - I don't much feel like it either."

"Get a fridge that orders food for you," Zac suggested.

"Zac, would you get one of those?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I wouldn't trust a fridge, even one automated and programmed by man, to order my groceries for me."

"Exactly. So why are you suggesting we do it?"

"Uhhh... because?"

"Weirdo."

"Thank you."

Taylor

"I'm sure it can wait until tomorrow," Taylor shrugged, taking a look in the fridge before closing the door again.

"Guess we'd better start setting up what we have of a music room."

Zac and Isaac

"Sounds like a plan," Isaac said.

"Oh a plan, I like those," Zac said. "Right up there with chocy muffins."

And thus the boys got to music room setting up goodness.
