Kitty couldn't sleep. She'd been working on this for hours, but it was fascinating. She'd connected the T-X's neural processor to one of the computers in the lab, and was amazed at everything she was learning. One thing she'd learned long ago, was that with the ability to destroy machines with her hand, she needed to be able to put them together again. This stuff was her specialty. She found the machine's primary mission statement.
Terminate subjects:
Alvarez, Enrique
Alvers, Lance
Foster, Geraldine
Kent, Clark
Logan, full name unknown
McCoy, Henry
Pryde, Kathryn
Summers, Jean
Summers, Joyce
Summers, Scott
Xavier, Charles
Kitty was a little surprised to see her own name in the list, b ut that explained why the T-X was able to mimic her. She looked for hours, but finally figured out the switch.
She reprogrammed the Terminator, Primary objective: protect all
humans. Secondary objective: Accept verbal commands from:
McCoy, Hank
Pryde, Kathryn
Summers, Jean
Summers, Scott
Xavier, Charles
Kill no humans.
"Hank! Look! I've got it!" She showed Hank the reprogramming she'd done.
"Can you reattatche her head?" Hank asks.
"Shouldn't be too difficult." Jean came in to where Hank and Kitty were working.
"Alright. I'm putting my foot down. The two of you need to eat, shower and get some sleep, or else I'll quarantine the both of you."
"I Reprogrammed her," Kitty argued, " I want to put her back together."
"After you rest," Jean said. "I'll work on putting the pieces back together, you just go eat." Kitty and Hank grudgingly went upstairs to the caf, while Jean worked on putting the T-X back together.
