It had already taken Taylor a day to get over what had happened at Zac's new year party, but because he was finally over it figured everyone else would be too.
Thus he picked up his phone, found Natalie's number, and called her sometime in the morning.
Natalie
Natalie paused the movie and listened. Was that her phone? It sounded like - oh, it was!
She jumped up from the lounge and raced into the other room whereher phone was, and hit the button just as she was thinking she was too late.
"Hello?"
Taylor
"Ah... hi, Natalie," Taylor began, sensing urgency in her voice.
"Did I interrupt something?"
Natalie
"Well, yes and no... I was watching a movie. But it was just a DVD," Natalie replied. "But I wasn't sure if I heard my phone ring or not, and obviously, it was so I had to run into the other room -"
She cut herself off. She was babbling again.
Taylor
Taylor chuckled to himself.
"That's cool then. I'm calling about Tuesday. Ah what time... would be best for you? I think Tanya has classes in the morning."
Natalie
"Well, I guess it should be the afternoon then. Any time is good, really," Natalie said. "I assume we're going by teleporter?"
Taylor
"Well, yeah," Taylor nodded to himself.
"If you can come here again I can organise to get to the station. Say by... 1pm?"
Natalie
"Sure," Natalie replied. "You're still at the same house as the party?"
She figured he was, but thought she'd better check.
Taylor
"Yeah, yeah. This is Zac's house," Taylor explained.
"Ike and I are just... staying here a while."
Natalie
"Oh, okay," Natalie replied. "Well, I guess I'll see you at one on Tuesday then."
Taylor
"Yes, I will see you then," Taylor agreed.
"Enjoy the remainder of your weekend."
Natalie
"I will," Natalie replied. "You have a good weekend too. Bye."
And they hung up.
