Rogue felt she had stayed long enough at the space station, so a couple of days ago, she set off for more travelling.
By way of the amplifiers, she was in Genovia. And after having gone through the usual rigmarole, she had settled in her hotel room.
Realising of course, that she would need some money to cover herself, Rogue decided to look around for a temporary job of some kind. Just to last her long enough to see the country.
Perhaps the most astounding thing about Genovia, was the discovery that the rumours were actually true. Mutants were accepted, and could freely use their powers without fear. Well, Rogue wouldn't be using her natural mutant power, but she could use her atom manipulation if need be. In some ways, Rogue almost felt like a Dathrian - she had atom manipulation and a specialty power, and she had pet fuzzles.
Today had been her first day of work - of all things she found herself teaching self defense classes. She was now returning to her hotel room, looking forward to a nice long shower.
Her fuzzles were using the whole hotel room as a playground. Rogue grinned and checked that they all were there.
" 'Afternoon!" she greeted them.
Zurina bounced over to snuggle Rogue and she patted her affectionately.
"How are we all? Not gettin' up to too much mischief Ah hope."
And that was when she realised that Liberty and Azure were still in the same spots when she left them that morning. She frowned consideringly, and knelt down to take a closer look at them.
"Expecting are we?" she asked.
Zurina chirped as if to say yes on behalf of her mother and... sister-in-law?
"Well, well..." Rogue said. "Azure... Libahty...that's great... really great... Oh my gosh, Ah canna believe... I guess Red was around long enough when we were at the station, huh?"
