Keahi went into her room and unpacked, and then started to look around. She was on the space station. She was out of Hawaii, and for the first time, she was away from her family. It was a little scary, really, but exciting. All unpacked, she decided to explore.
Oliver
Oliver was absorbed in his notes on his clipboard, and therefore paying attention to where he was going. Thus it was no suprirse when, as he went around the corner, he knocked into someone and fell down flat.
"Oh, oh sorry!"
Keahi
"Ow," Keahi said, rubbing her bottom. "Come here often?" she asked Oliver, who landed next to her on the floor.
Oliver
"I live here actually," Oliver replied. "I was just..."
He gestured to his clipboard and shook his head.
"I should look where I'm going."
He stood and held out his hand to help Keahi up.
Keahi
"I was making a joke," she said. "You know, do yo0u come here often, to the floor, you know. Oh, never mind, I'm not very funny. I'm Keahi," she said as he helped her up, "And thanks."
Oliver
"That's okay," Oliver grinned. "I'm Oliver. You visiting, or moving in or something?"
Keahi
"I don't really know," Keahi said. "I just kind of left home. Decided one day that I needed to do something with my life."
Oliver
"Ahh, I see," Oliver nodded. "Do you have any ideas? And if I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, just tell me to butt out."
He grinned.
Keahi
"Not a clue. But since you live here, could you show me around? I'm feeling a little intimidated," Keahi had to admit.
Oliver
"Uhh, yeah, just let me get rid of this. I live around the corner," Oliver agreed, holding up his clipboard. "I just got off work... theorectically..."
He gave a wry grin and started walking to his door.
Keahi
"Cool," Keahi said as she waited for Oliver.
Oliver
Oliver opened his door, threw in his clipboard (literally) and closed the door again.
"Okay, sorry about that," Oliver said. "What would you like to see first?"
