It was probably not the wisest idea they had ever had, but Frankie, Tom and Dan decided to spend their Saturday in the city. They stopped by Michael's Pitt's apartment and grabbed him and Miguel, with image inducer of course, and forced them to join them. Then they picked up Kitty Pryde and Ophelia and Constantine.
"What shall we do? I'm bored," Ophelia said.
"We could go see a movie," Dan suggested.
"Boring. That's, like, all we do," Kitty said, "I'd suggest we go out dancing, but we're not all legal."
"We can get in, it's not a problem. Dancing sure sounds good to me," Frankie said. "It sure beats sitting around getting high like I normally do."
"But if we're going dancing, we need to change," Ophelia pointed out.
'Then let's hit the shops, on me," Tom said, producing his credit card out of his pocket.
Shannon
While Shannon would have preferred to stay home (she considered the mansion to be home now), she realised that she needed to get new clothes sometime. So, leaving Briar with Mel and Will (who loved the newborn), Shannon reluctantly when downtown to get herself some new clothes.
Shannon hated the crowd at the shopping center and made a point of moving from shop to shop as quickly as possible. Whilst she was there, she thought she saw some of the other students from the school. Which, she reflected, wasn't exactly an unreasonable possibility.
Kitty
"Is that Shannon?" Kitty asked. "It is. Hey, SHannon, over here," she called, waving her former schoolmate over.
Shannon
Shannon looked up tentatively, and saw that they were people from the school. Whist she would have prefered to shop on her own, she joined them.
"Hi," she said.
Kitty and Michael
"How's Briar?" Kitty asked. "I haven't seen y'all since I moved out to go to school. Have you heard from anyone in our class? Rogue? Julie?" Michael bounded over and hugged Shannon and Kitty both in a group hug.
"Hey there Shannon. Kitty, I foun this dress that would look fabulous on you."
"Has anybody mentioned how steretypical you are for a gay guy?" Kitty asked, rollin her eyes.
"Of course, darling of course." Michael wondered back to where Dan, Tom, Ophelia, Frankie, Miguel, and Constantine were.
Shannon
"I believe everyone is good," Shannon replied. "Rogue is... on the space station at the moment. Julie has moved in with Bobby and is having lots of fun with her website. Briar is doing well. How are you all doing?"
Kitty
"you want to go out dancing with us?"? Kitty asked, "Though I'm guessing you have to go back to your little one," Kitty commented as the rest of their friends acted like nutcases in the background.
Shannon
"Uhh, I just need to get some new clothes and then yes I shall be going back home," Shannon replied.
She wasn't really the 'go out dancing' kind of person.
