Sunset Patrol

Written by Joy and Michelle

Dakota

Darcy glared at Tiffany. "Stake a vampire already. I killed the last two. You haven't staked a single vampire all week, and it's beginning to royally piss me off."

~*~*~*~

Armelle grinned as she killed another demon. She and Friday were really starting to get a rhythm down. "Is it just me, or are we getting rather good at this tag-team deamon killing?"

~*~*~*~

"I want to kill a vampire," Dalota whined. "Why aren't we allowed to go on patrols yet? It's not fair," she said, pouting again.

"They think we're too little," Keisha said. The younger slayers were all hanging out in one of the lounges.

Friday

Tiffany ignored Darcy. Really, it just wasn't right that she was forced to traverse like this and having to kill demons. It was a very good way to ruin her clothes, and she might break a nail!

**********

"Oh, we're getting good," Friday replied enthusiastically. "And that's another one down. We should get prizes for how many we kill - we'd win, hands down."

**********

"What do they know?" Kendra asked. "Hey, you wanna sneak out and see if we can kill one anyway?"

Dakota

"Vampires," Darcy said, pointing. What she didn't know was that in addition to the two she was pointing at, there were two behind them about to pounce.

~*~*~*~

"Totally! We rock," Armelle said, doing a little dance.

~*~*~*~

"Ooooh, yeah!" Dakota said.

"Totally," Keisha said. "Let's do it."

Friday

"Whatever," Tiffany replied.

She looked at the stake she had been required to carry around with her in disdain.

**********

"Absolutely," Friday agreed. "Hmm, where to next?"

**********

"Okay," Kendra said. "We need weapons, and we need to be able to sneak out of here without getting caught. Ideas?"

Dakota

"You don't get it, do you?" Darcy asked, shocked. 'If you don't kill them, they'll kill you. unless you want to die, but that would just be stupid." Darcy threw a stake at one of the vampires, and saw his crumble to dust, as his very pissed off girlfriend turned around and charged at them. The two standing behind them deided to strike.

~*~*~*~

"Hmmm, maybe we should check that alley behind the library, it seems all creepy-spooky-like," Armelle suggested.

~*~*~*~

"Hmmmm," Keisha said. "I nicked this from the library, it's a book of spells, and there's one in here to turn yourself invisible."

"Do you think we cvould do it?" Dakota asked.

Friday

Tiffany screamed as the vampire lurch towards her. She waved the stake out in front of her.

"Go away, go away, go away," she freaked.

And by some weird stroke of luck, she managed to get the stake through the vampire's heart.

**********

"Yes," Friday agreed. "Besides, Hollywood teaches us that bad things always lurk in dark alleys."

**********

"Magic?" Kendra asked. "I dunno... shouldn't we have someone who knows what they're doing teach us? I mean, we wouldn't want to accidently turn anyone into a toad or something..."

Dakota

Darcy staked the girlfriend and scared the other vamp off with a cross to the forehead.

"You're a cheerleader for cripes sake, you should at least be able to be graceful. Tiff, as much as I can't stand you, and would like to see you boiled in acid, I don't want the vamps to get you. YOu need to start trying," she said, exas[erated/

~*~*~*~

"And yet, there doesn;t seem to be anything in THIS alley. As long as we're out and about,, though, I'm happy as a clam," Armelle commented.

~*~*~*~

"Well, if it was really dangerous, wouldn't they keep it locked up?" Keisha pointed out. "I think we should try it."

"ME too," Dakota said. "What do we need?"

Friday

Tiffany just flicked her hair at her. She hated vampires. She hated this school. She hated everything. Why couldn't things just go back to normal?

**********

"Well, that's boring. Obviously, this alley has never been to creepy alleys 101 class," Friday nodded. "Or at least doesn't watch movies."

**********

"True," Kendra nodded thoughtfully.

Still a little apprehensive, Kendra listened to what they would need.

Darcy, Armelle and Keisha

Darcy sighed. "Fine. Don't try. Whatever. Let yourself get slaughtered. See if I care." She turned around and headed back to school.

~*~*~

Armelle grinned. "Well, I think we should give this alley a good stern talking to. It needs to learn its lesson."

~*~*~

"Um, It says we need ice, a mirror, and rosepetals. I think we can find all that," Keisha said.

Friday

Tiffany, glad that Darcy was finally heading back to the school, scampered on after her. She started wondering - and not for the first time - how she could get out of this mess.

**********

"Yes, I agree," Friday said, and then turned to face the alley. "Alley, I think you should know that as an alley, you should have gone to alley school and taken 'Creepy Alley 101', like good alleys do. I mean, hello? aren't there suppose to be evil creatures lurking in you? Or did you take the course, and failed the final; exam because you're too soft-hearted and don't want to see innocent people get hurt? Is that it?"

**********

"Yeah... mirrors are everywhere. Ice will be in the kitchen... Are the any rose bushes around this place?" Kendra asked.

She was still a little apprehensive, but if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, as they say.

Darcy and Armelle

Darcy ran into the shower as soon as she got back, and she was certain Tiff wild be ready to kill her, but she didn't care.

~*~*~

the alley continued to be disobedient and nonthreatening, so Armelle suggested they go home.

~*~*~

The girls were getting ready to do the spell when one of the teachers caught them and sent them to bed early.
