Emily

Christian, Guffery & Emily

Christian groaned when he heard the buzzing sound again, warning him that he was about to become restrained to the wall.

He got up from the bed and stood back against the wall by it. As the red strip was level with his thighs, he could comfortably let his hands fall by his side as the magnetics began their work.

He was soon restrained and the door was opened. He had no idea of what was going on, as he'd only been fed a few hours prior.

He shook some hair out of his eyes as he saw Guffery step through.

"Good afternoon," he nodded, Christian giving no response in return.

"Thought you might care for a visitor."

He turned back to the open door and nodded a little, indicating for someone to enter.

Christian heard footsteps, before someone appeared from behind the door. The harsh look disappeared from Christian's face as the two simply stared at each other.

"I'll leave you two alone. You have two hours," Guffery said softly, before leaving the room.

Christian didn't even hear the buzzing confirming his release from the wall. He couldn't do anything but stare.

"You know... considering we only have two hours, maybe we should talk?" she raised an eyebrow, her hands fidgeting away.

Christian froze, before he seemed to snap back to reality suddenly.

"Emily?" his eyebrows arched in a cross between hope and longing.

She bit her lip and nodded.

"I missed you Chris," she said suddenly, stepping forward.

He came forward to meet her and they embraced. Suddenly, she couldn't stop her eyes welling up.

"I missed you too," Christian whispered, holding her firmly in his arms.

They stood like that for what seemed to them to be hours, just basking in each others' company. When they finally let go, Christian wiped her eyes for her.

"I ah... heard you were getting yourself into trouble out there," Christian chuckled a little.

"Just a bit."

Christian took her hand and led her over to the bed. When he sat down before her, she unexpectedly lay down, and after a moment he joined her.

"You seemed to attract more trouble than I did," she said finally, staring into his eyes as they faced each other.

"I was practically asking for it," Christian replied softly, moving a few stray strands of hair from her face.

She bit her lip again, and her eyes dropped.

"I'm so sorry Chris," she shooked her head, the tears coming again.

"For what?" he asked, just letting her cry.

He knew she needed to let it all out.

"For everything. I shouldn't have let him catch me. I should have been more careful. I should have stopped Darcy..."

"It was years ago, you were just a teenager," Christian insisted, "I'm sure it wasn't your fault."

"It feels like yesterday," she insisted, "I can still hear his yells in my ears like it was only hours ago. He was my soulmate Chris, and I let him go..."

"Well I don't know the whole story, but I can pretty much guarantee that it wasn't your fault. If Guffery had anything to do with it..."

"Guffery didn't kill him," she cut him off, "he wanted him alive. He wanted all of us alive. Darcy killed himself, trying to get away."
